Beauty Pageant

POV: IRENE

This is it.

I can't go further than this.

Tears slowly filled my eyes as I attempted to take my exit.

As I was about to, I saw Jinyoung.

He ran over from his seat towards the bottom of the stage.

He started using his hands to communicate.

"You're doing well. That dress? You look stunning."

I could make out his actions into words.

A smile formed on my face as I could feel my nerves calming down.

I released a deep breath & decided to continue on.

With one hand beside my waist, I took the stage.

POV: JINYOUNG

Cheers filled the entire venue as Irene walked the ramp.

I could finally breathe now.

She was dragged into this pageant because of me yet she didn't back out.

It was my rightful duty to help her.

A sense of pride filled my heart.

I was proud of her.

POV: JUNGKOOK

The girl, Irene was up on the stage.

She seemed really anxious & nervous.

It was quite understandable.

As we were all watching her intently, I noticed something.

The ramp seemed to be changing.

I flinched my eyebrows in confusion.

"Are you guys seeing that!?" I inquired the lot.

The music was too loud.

I doubt they could've heard me.

The detail was also too minute to be noticed immediately.

Soon, the whole venue was filled with loud cheers.

Irene confidently walked the ramp & caused havoc.

"Did you say something earlier Jungkook?" Jennie inquired.

She must've heard me since she sat beside me.

"Nothing." I replied.

Suspicion aroused in my mind towards Irene.

POV: TAEHYUNG

I was late to the pageant.

I saw an empty seat & immediately ran towards it.

Anxiety filled my heart.

I was not accustomed to be in the midst of such crowds.

I never attended anything.

This was my first time at a live show.

I didn't know if Jisoo was already done.

For the first time ever I dreaded not being able to communicate with others.

I wish I could ask around.

"Next up- Kim Jisoo!"

My heart went numb.

Jisoo was up next.

I was on time.

She stepped outside & smiled at the crowd.
