Gia had always been a light sleeper, so the sound of the living room window sliding open and the sound of footsteps in the girls shared apartment woke her up instantly. Gia reached for her bedside table and grabbed her "first blade" replica off it's stand. It was made of carbon fiber but it looked scary.

Gia slid out of bed quietly and made her way to the bedroom door, she turned the handle slowly and inched the door open. Holding the blade in front of her she burst into the living room area and let out a loud gasp. She was met with an equally terrified stare from none other than Henry.

"HENRY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Gia whisper- shouted. "I'm sorry." Henry breathed, glancing at the blade in Gia's hand. "I wanted to surprise Nicole with coffee in bed..it was supposed to be romantic." He continued. "Why do you have a blade?" He asked concerned. Gia furrowed her brows before she remembered. "It's a fake" she said as she poked the end into the palm of her hand. Henry let out a relieved sigh. "I'm going back to bed.." Gia said. "You better ask Nicole for an extra key..and make me some coffee too." Gia said angrily. Henry nodded in agreement and turned back to the cups of coffee he had been preparing.
Henry made his way into Nicole's bedroom. He placed their own coffee cups on her bedside table and made his way to the other side of the bed. He climbed into the covers and snuggled up to Nicole who stirred gently. He pulled her into his arms and closed his eyes, breathing in the smell of her clean hair.
