The day was winding down, the sun beginning to set and cast the Hollywood Arts High School in a warm, golden glow. Jade West, her mind teeming with brilliant, complex characters and convoluted plotlines, was excitedly pacing the theatre room, her script clutched in her hands. Her play, a dark, immersive drama she had spent weeks meticulously crafting, was finally ready for its debut. She had rehearsed every line, staged every scene, prepared for every eventuality...or so she thought.

Suddenly, the doors swung open, and in waltzed Sikowitz, his usually jovial demeanor masked by an expression of awkward sympathy. "Jade, I need to talk to you about your play," he began, his voice unusually serious.

Something clenched in her stomach. Jade's eyes narrowed, her grip tightening on the script in her hands. "What about it?" she asked, her voice steady despite the unease that was beginning to settle in her.

Sikowitz sighed. "You can't perform it on Saturday."

Jade felt as if the floor had disappeared beneath her feet. "What?" she spat out, the word raw and bitter.

"There's been a scheduling conflict," Sikowitz explained, his voice apologetic. "Tori decided to have a... 'Prome'."

"Prome?" Jade echoed, her voice filled with disbelief and mounting anger. "She decided to have a prome just a day ago and my play, which has been in the works for weeks, is being bumped off for her whim?"

Sikowitz nodded uncomfortably. "I'm afraid so. We can reschedule your play, Jade..."

But Jade was hardly listening. She felt a rush of anger surge through her veins, hot and unyielding. She had poured her heart and soul into that play, and now it was being shoved aside for Tori's last-minute 'Prome'? It wasn't fair. It wasn't right.

"I can't believe this," she hissed, her eyes flashing dangerously. She stormed out of the room, leaving a bewildered Sikowitz in her wake.

Later that night, Jade lay in her bed, staring at the ceiling. The anger that had coursed through her veins had now been replaced by a cold, simmering fury. She couldn't just let this go. She had been wronged, and she was going to make things right.

Slowly, a plan began to form in her mind. She would sabotage the prome. Tori had messed with her, and she was going to pay. She would ensure that her precious 'Prome' would be a night to remember, but for all the wrong reasons.

And so, with a wicked smile on her face, Jade began to plot her revenge. Tori Vega had no idea what was coming her way.

Fueled by her fury and desire for retribution, Jade started to carefully concoct a series of mishaps designed to turn Tori's 'Prome' into a fiasco. It would be a spectacle, alright, but not the kind Tori had envisioned.

First, she arranged for the decorations. She discreetly swapped Tori's order for elegant, vibrant decorations with an array of unflattering and downright odd decor. A mix of kitschy flamingos, gaudy disco balls, and garish neon lights.

Next, the food. Jade contacted the catering service Tori had arranged, spinning an elaborate tale of Tori's 'exotic' tastes and pushing them to replace the standard party fare with a selection of bizarre and unpalatable dishes. The centerpiece of which, would be a vast octopus sculpture made entirely of different types of cheeses.

Lastly, Jade arranged a surprise for the 'Prome' king and queen crowning. Hiring Doug the Diaper Guy, a man known for his eccentricity and bizarre pranks, she had a plan for the ceremony to be a memorable moment. Doug was given clear instructions to create chaos during the crowning moment.

However, as it turned out, Jade's plan backfired dramatically.

The unconventional decor somehow struck a chord with the students, who thought it was a brilliantly eccentric twist on the usual prom decor. The outlandish food became a topic of intrigue and laughter, serving as an ice-breaker among the students.

And the crowning moment? That was where the real chaos unfolded. To Jade's own surprise, she was voted as the 'Prome' queen, and Doug as the king. As per her plan, Doug had a surprise in store for the event - only, Jade hadn't expected to be on the receiving end. She found herself taken away against her will by Doug, leaving a trail of laughter and applause in her wake.

As she was carried out of the 'Prome', Jade couldn't help but feel a begrudging respect for the unpredictability of life. Tori's 'Prome' hadn't been the disaster she had intended it to be, but it sure was a night to remember.

When Beck returned from Canada that night, he was met with a sight that shook him to the core. In his RV, Jade sat, her appearance disheveled—makeup smeared, dress torn—and her eyes reflecting a depth of defeat and despair. She didn't speak at first; instead, she just buried her face in his chest, her body shaking with silent sobs.

After a while, Jade's voice, barely above a whisper, broke the silence. "No one... no one even called to check if I was okay," she said, her voice strained with pain and disbelief.

Beck, gently petting her hair to calm her, felt a surge of protectiveness. "What happened, Jade?" he asked softly.

Through her tears, Jade recounted the "Prome" incident, her voice laced with a mixture of shock and hurt. "Tori called me a freak demon... and everyone just... agreed with her."

The next day, Beck confronted their friends, his frustration evident. "Why didn't any of you call Jade? She was hurt!"

Tori and the others, still caught up in the aftermath of their so-called successful night, seemed indifferent. "She was acting like a psycho," Tori retorted. "She brought it on herself."

Beck's anger flared. "That doesn't justify ignoring her when she's clearly in distress. She's our friend!"

The tension between Beck and the rest of the group was palpable in the days that followed. Jade, for her part, struggled with her emotions, eventually expressing regret for her actions at the Prome. "I just... I let things get out of hand," she admitted to Beck one evening.

Beck understood the complexity of Jade's feelings, her impulsiveness often a mask for deeper issues. "You're not a freak demon, Jade. You're just... uniquely expressive," he reassured her. Jade's response was a mix of a grumble and a reluctant sigh, but there was a glimmer of appreciation in her eyes.

This incident was a stark reminder of the challenges Jade faced in dealing with her emotions and the need for growth and understanding. For Beck, it reaffirmed his commitment to stand by her, to support and love her through her complexities and passionate nature.
