Johnnie's pov
I was on the couch on my phone "Johnnie" Jake says I look up at him "yeah?" I ask him "were going camping" he says smiling excited I smile "I've never been camping before" I say smiling he looks shocked "well now you are!" He says smiling "sam and colby are coming" he says I nod "wait is this like one of the haunted forests Jake" I say looking at him he smiles "no not at all I just thought we all needed a break from the internet yk" he says I nod "okay well get packing were leaving in 2 hours" he says "and you waited 2 our prior to tell me" I chuckle getting up he nods I smile and walk into my room grabbing a backpack and pack my stuff.
I walk into the bathroom and grab my toothbrush I look in the mirror "hm since were going camping and not filming I guess I don't need makeup" I say as I grab a makeup wipe and take off my makeup,
I walk back into my room grabbing my phone and wallet and put on my shoes I was currently wearing black skinny jeans and the crow sweatshirt Jake got me for Christmas I smile and walk into the living room sitting on the couch smiling "no makeup?" Jake says smiling I look up smiling "nah were camping I dont need makeup" I say smiling he nods "well we need to leave so we can go get Sam and colby" I nod and get up grabbing my backpack and walk outside putting our bags in the trunk we close it, I sit in the passenger seat as Jake sits in the driver's seat I look out the window as he drives.
After awhile of awkward silence Jake speaks "at the forset were going to there's hiking and a lake oh and also a waterfall" he says smiling I smile "that sounds fun how far?" I ask "about 6 hours from here" he says as he pulls into Sam and colbys driveway he parks the car and pulls out his phone texting them "3 hours wow" I say leaning back in the seat he nods putting away his phone looking at me I look at the door as Sam and cooby walk out towards the car Jake gets out and helps put their bags in the trunk I sit and watch from the passenger seat Jake gets back in the driver's seat and sam and colby sit in the back "hi Johnnie" they both say smiling "hi guys" I say with a smile, I look out the window as the others talk I don't know about what because I'm not listening I put on my headphones and close my eyes.
After awhile I wake up and look around taking off my headphones Jake looks at me "oh your awake" he says smiling I slightly smile "the others fell asleep to" he says pointing to the back as he drives I look behind us and see Sam's head on colbys shoulder and colbys head onto of Sam's I smile I look at the road "you guys have been out for a good bit" he says "we got like 2 hours to go" he says I nod smiling "were gonna stop for something to eat" he says I nod as we pull of the highway and through a exit we look around for a good bit "steak house sound okay?" He asks looking at me I nod he pulls in and parks we look into the back them still fast asleep me and Jake look at eachother "I will wake them" I say I sit up and turn around and tap colby and sam on the leg sam slowly wakes up so does colby they look at us "we stopped for food come on" Jake says.
After we were done eating we got back in the car beginning to drive again everyone making small talk "so Jake how are you and tara?" Colby asks I look at Jake then them i guess they didn't know "oh me and Tara broke up but were good friends" he says looking at the road "oh sorry man I didn't know" colby apologizes "it's fine" Jake says smiling "you and Kat still friends sam?" Jake asks looking at sam in the mirror "yeah were friends break up was hard but yk not everything can last forever" sam says Jake nods I think about that "but me and colby are going to be friends forever no matter what" sam says smiling looking at colby "yeah relationships may not last forever but friendships can" colby says Jake nods "yeah me and Johnnie are going to he friends forever" Jake says smiling and looks at me I smile and nod as we give eachother a high five smiling.
After awhile I look behind us and see sam once again fell asleep but his head one on Sam's lap and colby was lean back in the seat fast asleep too I smile "I love there friendship" I say turning back around looking at Jake "yeah it's amazing" Jake says looking at me I nod smiling I put my elbow on the center piece and put my fist against my head as I watch Jake drive us laughing here and there from time to time, I smile at him as he talks his eyes shining in the light his smile that can light up a whole room I slightly blush as I think I look away "why am I think about him like that" I whisper "hm?" Jake hums looking at me "oh nothing I was talking to myself" I say he nods smiling "ok weirdo" he says letting out a chuckle I smile.
