dad

Son, what do you think of meeting
the daughter of a good friend of mine?

what?

Remember my good friend, Wilson?
I want you to meet his daughter.

i'm not interested in meeting anyone

It doesn't matter, Wilson and I
think it best for you two to meet,
it will benefit everyone. I've arranged
the meet-up for you, son.

you don't get to just pop up in my life
and decide stuff for me

Oh, you'll thank me after you meet her.
She's beautiful and you two will get
along just fine.

i'm not signing up for pathetic
matchmaking services by you
and your connections

Hmm, stubborn just like your mother.
You will do what I've planned for you.
Meet me at the Italian diner this
Sunday at 5 p.m.

what if i said i liked people with dicks
what if i said i liked people with
what if i said i liked peo
what if i said i like

you have no guarantee i'll come

Believe me when I say I can make
you come if I want to.
You don't want anyone close to you
to get hurt, right?

what are you implying
you bastard

That's no way to speak to your father.
You and your roommate seem rather
close.
What about a 'missing student' case
tomorrow morning?

you wouldn't dare.

Oh I would.
Remember Soyeon?
I cut her off from Eunchae and we've
not heard anything from her since then.
I could do the same to your precious
friend.

i'll fucking expose you then

You can't.
You forget, with a snap of my
fingers, the police obey anything
I demand.
They wouldn't listen to anyone else.

why am i surprised you
bought the fucking police force
it doesn't seem like i have
much of a choice
do i
i'll just fucking come

Again, language.
See you on Sunday, my son.

~~~
well, i'm even more fucked than i was days ago.
i really have to find jeongin and talk to him, however much i dread it.
i rushed up the stairs leading to the dorms as fast as i could, but when i entered our shared dorm, i didn't see a single soul in sight. i mean, not that there should be more than two people, anyway.
'jeongin?' i called out, anxious for a response. i waited a few moments, to have the freezing wind gushing in from the window as my only answer.
i rubbed my hands together in a futile attempt to bring warmth back to my fingertips; the dorm was just as cold and dim as the weather outside.
'how could he not on the heater? it's freezing...' i muttered to myself, just as i heard footsteps from my bedroom.
i quickly flipped the lamp switch in the corner of the living room on, and nudged my bedroom door open a crack.
