As the emergency helicopter landed at a hidden helipad nestled within the remote outskirts of the city, Kayn wasted no time. Every resource, every connection, and every last penny he had amassed from his recent success in the music industry were invested in Akali's safety.

The paramedics carefully transported her into an exclusive private clinic on a stretcher, guarded by a team of seasoned bodyguards whose loyalty came at a steep price.

As the doctors closed the operating room, Kayn paced the hushed corridors, the antiseptic scent intermingling with the urgency that fuelled his every step. His phone buzzed incessantly as he engaged in negotiations with the facility's medical staff, using both charm and monetary persuasion to ensure Akali's well-being.

No expense was spared to shield her from potential harm, whether it be from prying eyes or the nefarious motives of those who might view her as a target. He was determined to safeguard Akali's life from the looming threats that had become an inescapable part of their reality.

Kayn's eyes darted to the operating room door every few seconds, a mix of hope and fear reflected in his gaze.

Despite the chaos, he found a moment of stillness, sinking into a chair, his head bowed in prayer. The Bible in his pocket felt like a tangible connection to something greater, a source of strength in his moment of helplessness.

He clung to a quote that resonated within him, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." It was a reminder of resilience and faith amidst uncertainty.

Time seemed to stretch on endlessly as Kayn waited for any news on Akali's condition. Finally, the lead surgeon emerged from the operating room, his expression one of cautious optimism.

"How is she? Is she going to be okay?" Kayn asked.

The surgeon offered a small, reassuring smile. "She's stable. No concussion or spinal injury, thankfully. Just some scrapes, stitches, and a broken leg that got trapped under the motorcycle. She's a fighter."

A wave of relief washed over Kayn, his tense shoulders relaxing slightly. "Can I see her?" he asked.

The surgeon nodded. "Yes, but she needs rest. Keep the visit brief."

Kayn nodded, his heart pounding as he followed the surgeon to Akali's room. The door opened to reveal Akali lying on the hospital bed, her leg in a cast and her pale face marked with bruises and bandages. Despite her injuries, she looked peaceful, a stark contrast to the chaotic scene of the accident.

As Kayn approached, Akali's eyes fluttered open, meeting his with a mix of confusion and relief. "Kayn?"

"Hey," Kayn said softly, taking a seat beside her bed

"Hey," Kayn said softly, taking a seat beside her bed. His hand reached out, hesitating for a moment before gently holding hers. "You had me worried there for a moment."

Akali managed a faint smile. "Seems like I can't even take a ride without causing a scene."

Kayn chuckled, but his eyes were filled with concern.

Akali's gaze shifted to her leg, then back to Kayn. "How bad is it?"

"Just a broken leg and some cuts. You'll be back on your feet in no time," Kayn reassured her, squeezing her hand gently.

Akali's eyes searched his, finding the worry he tried to mask. "What about the others?"

"I'll follow up. I'm sure they're fine," Kayn said, his gaze lingering on Akali for a moment before he stood up. "I should let you rest. But I'll be right outside if you need anything."

Kayn left the room with a plan forming in his mind. They needed a secure location where they could regroup and broadcast their message without fear. He knew of an abandoned broadcasting station on the outskirts of the city. Without hesitation, he used the last of his funds to acquire it.

Once the deal was finalized, Kayn called Sett. "I found us somewhere to regroup," he said. "It's a bit rundown, but it's got character. And more importantly, it's got the tech we need. I've sent you the coordinates. How are Ahri and Evelynn?"

Sett sighed. "No change. They're still out of it. But Ekko, Qiyana, Yasuo, and Senna pulled off a miracle. Silco's behind bars. They managed to gather enough evidence to warrant a police investigation."

"That's one less thing to worry about," Kayn replied. "But we're far from done."

"What's your plan?" Sett asked.

"I'm sticking with Akali until she's up and about," Kayn said. "Can you get everyone to the hideout?"

"Leave it to me. We'll set up and wait for you two," said Sett.
