This story is set in the 90's background
Avan is 27 years old professor in Lotus Flower High School. His parents are desperately in search of a bride for him. Losing to his parents' continuous pleas he finally gave up and said yes. But with one condition! he wants to marry an independent girl, because he is a feminist and wants to be an example for others so that they will also support the women in their life.
Unaware of the fact that the very first girl or the only girl he's going to meet is his not so favorite student who barely pass the subject he teach. No so favorite is because he never noticed her in class because she's an introvert, who loves to mind her own business.
Dharini is in 12th grade and her mother is adamant on marrying her off as soon as possible because four girls of her age in her locality did something shameful. But only because her father wants her to study, she agreed to let Dharini complete her 12th.
