3rd POV

Y/N was sleeping in their dog bed, curled up not having a care in the world until...

!!!Crash!!!!

Y/N jolted up from their sleep and ran into the kitchen to see Lilac looking at a broken bowl on the ground not having noticed Y/N.

Y/N cautiously approached Lilac, their fluffy tail swaying back and forth with curiosity. They were unable to make any sound due to being mute, but they wanted to communicate their presence to her. Y/N tapped Lilac's leg, trying to get her attention.

Startled, Lilac turned around and met Y/N's sparkling eyes. A soft smile formed on her face as she realized who had approached her. She crouched down to Y/N's level, her brilliant eyes glimmering in the sunlight streaming through the kitchen window.

"Hey there Y/N," Lilac cooed, stroking Y/N's soft fur. "Did the noise startle you too? Looks like we both had quite the wake-up call." Though Y/N couldn't respond verbally, they appreciated the gesture and rubbed their head against Lilac's hand, expressing their gratitude.

Lilac slowly got up, careful not to disturb Y/N's peaceful nature, and began cleaning up the mess of broken glass on the floor. Y/N sat nearby, their fluffy ears perked up, curious about what had caused the crash. As Lilac worked, she hummed a soothing tune, creating a calming atmosphere that helped Y/N relax.

Once the kitchen was tidied up, Lilac turned to Y/N, gesturing towards the broken bowl.  "I accidentally knocked the bowl off the counter. I guess I should be more careful next time."

Y/N tilted their head, as if trying to comprehend Lilac's words. Their eyes fixated on the broken bowl and then shifted back to Lilac, realizing that accidents happen and there was no reason to fret. They walked over to a nearby cupboard and fetched a clean dish, gently placing it on the table next to Lilac.

Lilac's eyes widened in surprise and appreciation. She patted Y/N's head gently, understanding the message they were trying to convey. "Thank you, Y/N," she whispered.

It had been a few minutes pass Y/N is sitting on a stool in the kitchen watching Lilac cook, their nose overwhelmed by all the new smells. Y/N's tail swayed back and forth as they observed Lilac's graceful movements in the kitchen. The enticing aromas filled the air, making Y/N's mouth water in anticipation. Though they couldn't speak, their enthusiasm was evident in their sparkling eyes. Lilac noticed Y/N's fascination and smiled, gesturing for them to come closer. Y/N hopped off the stool and walked over to stand next to Lilac, their fluffy tail brushing against her leg. As Lilac continued to cook, she explained her process to Y/N, using simple hand gestures and facial expressions. Y/N watched intently; their eyes locked on Lilac's e     very move. They were captivated by the artistry of Lilac's cooking and the way she effortlessly blended ingredients together. Every now and then, Lilac would let Y/N smell an herb or spice, allowing them to experience the different scents that filled the kitchen. Y/N's nose twitched with excitement as they took in the various aromas, their senses overwhelmed by the tantalizing blend of flavors.

Lilac was making sushi with a side of fish for dinner. Just then Carol walked in the kitchen guided by their nose, she stopped at the doorway looking at Y/N and Lilac who were at the stove. They then spoke in an excited manor "Omg Lilac what is that delicious smell!

Lilac turned to Carol with a grin, her eyes shining with excitement. "Hey Carol! I'm making sushi with a side of fish for dinner. Care to join us? "Carol's eyes widened in delight as she crossed the kitchen, her tail swishing eagerly. "Oh, count me in! Sushi is my weakness," she exclaimed, pulling up a stool next to Y/N and settling in to watch the cooking process. Lilac began to explain her cooking methods to Carol, just as she had done with Y/N. She demonstrated the careful process of rolling the sushi, showing Carol how to handle the delicate seaweed and perfectly slice the fish. Carol's eyes never left Lilac's hands, absorbing every movement and detail. Meanwhile, Y/N watched the interaction between Lilac and Carol from the sidelines, their fluffy ears perked up in curiosity. They sensed the growing camaraderie between the two, their tails swaying gently in contentment. Y/N had always been a quiet observer, finding joy in the connections formed by others.
