I wake up to the feeling of soft lips leaving kisses all over my face and neck. I laugh sleepily and pull her closer and kiss her forehead and pat her head playfully.

"Morning sleepy pants." She says and kisses the tip of my nose.

"I like it when you tease me and call me a nickname." I say with a smile.

"Your morning voice is sexy." She smirks and caresses my face.

"So...my voice during any other time of the day isn't?" I say jokingly.

"No! No! All of you is sexy, all of the time."

"That's good to hear." I laugh.

We kiss each other and playfully rub our noses together. She goes to kiss me, and I kiss her forehead instead.

"What? Do I have morning breath?" She asks before covering her mouth.

"No, it's not your breath. I like the way you taste." I say before winking at her.

Her cheeks turn into a shade of pink, and she kisses me and lays on top of me. My hands roam over her butt and back, and her hands stay in my short hair. I start to kiss her neck and she stops holding me, and I feel cold.

"What?" I ask worriedly.

"Graduation day. We have to get ready!" She exclaims.

"Do you have something to change into? I mean, unless you want to wear a swimsuit or your prom dress under your graduation gown."

"I have to call Christina and get her to lend me something." She says.

Tris and I shower and make out for a bit in the shower, and she dries her hair while standing in front of the bathroom mirror. I put on my dress shirt and pants, and I take the engagement ring from under my graduation cap and put it in my pocket. I go downstairs and make some breakfast when I hear the doorbell ring.

"Hey Tobias!" Christina squeals and hugs me.

"Hey Chris. If you're here to give Tris something to wear she's in my bathroom." I say.

"Okay, thanks." She says.

Before I know it, I see everyone start crowding in my house.

"What're you guys-" I start, but get interrupted.

"It's the day we graduate, we obviously would hang out with you before all of this happens!" Uriah says excitedly.

"Thanks guys." I say.

"I can't believe we're graduating! Zeke says, sounding in disbelief.

"I know, high school really did go by fast." Will says.

"I won't miss it though. No more school work, no more bitchy teachers, no more bad school lunches." I say and laugh.

"I know right!" Uriah exclaims.

Once the girls are ready, we all put on our cap and gowns and head out to the large building they're holding our graduation in. The Hub.

The Hub, is Chicago's tallest and most prominent building. They hold graduations there every year. I've lived in Chicago my whole life, I have seen it in pictures and videos, but I've never step foot in it.

I hear the band playing, and all of the graduates walk out, and the sound of cheering and whooping fills my ears, and gradually gets louder and louder. I even hear air horns and megaphones. A huge smile spreads on my face, and I can't wipe it off. I don't want to.

"Family, friends, today your children are on the precipice of adulthood. When they leave here today, they'll be known as graduates of Faction High. They've conquered all of the obstacles of high school, and believe me, I know it wasn't easy. Now you're adults, ready to start a brand new journey. Ready to face the real world, and what it has in store for their curious minds. You started off, as naive, wild, and maybe even insecure. Now you're all brave, selfless, intelligent, honest, and kind human beings with an extremely effervescent quality that I don't think we've seen from any other graduating class. You're wild eagerness and extraordinary personalities made this class a class that we'll never forget. You've even made some traditions over the last four years that I think we'll pass on, so the others who are at the school will experience some of the indescribable enjoyment you've built. Adulthood is ready to embrace you in its arms, and we've gladly accepted the fact that you're ready to take off your training wheels." The principal says and walks away from the speakers podium after finishing the commencement speech.

Cheers come from the audience again, and all of the graduates let out one whoop. After that, the valedictorian makes her speech, and I hear faint sniffling coming from the girls. The guys sit on the left, and the aisle separates the girls who sit on the right. I look to the side, and see Tris smiling and Christina fake sobbing, and Tris lightly nudges her.

Once it's time for the diplomas to be handed out, we're all standing in line.

"Beatrice Prior."

She does a cute little twirl before accepting her diploma, and I smile.

She's so fucking cute.

I don't really pay attention to any other names after I receive my diploma, and Tris and I exchange looks often.

"You are all now officially graduates!"

Everyone turns their tassels, and then when the music plays again, we all toss our caps in the air, and a cry erupts from all of the graduates. Some of us are crying, some of us look liberated.

Liberated is the perfect word.

After the graduation, everyone is taking pictures and hugging their parents and friends and others. The sound of everyone talking is so loud, I can barely hear myself think.

"I say we all go out to dinner and celebrate!" Mrs. Prior says.

"Oh no, you don't have to-" Shauna's mother says.

"My treat. My daughter and her boyfriend and all of her wonderful friends deserve it, plus I want to get to know you all better." Mrs. Prior says to everyone's parents.

I'm the only one who doesn't have a parental figure with me.

If I did, I wouldn't want to introduce Marcus to them. He isn't worthy of friends. My mother, definitely deserved the world, and I couldn't give it to her.

I couldn't save her from Marcus.

Tris rubs my back and looks up at me, and she can tell that I'm slightly upset.

I love how she can read my mind.

We all go out to Olive Garden, and we all feast and talk and celebrate, and I feel the engagement ring box in my pocket. I need to do this.

I'm so nervous. What if she says no?

"Tris, can I tell you something?" I ask into her ear.

"Sure." She says and smiles.

"Okay." I say and stand up.

"Tris, you know how much I love you. You've heard me say it time and time again, so let me just get straight to the point. You make me extremely happy and since then, I don't think I'd be experience this happiness anyone else, and I want it to stay this way."

I pull the box out of my pocket and I get on one knee, and I hear an extremely loud scream from the girls and a few gasps from random people in the restaurant.

"Tris Prior, will you marry me?"
