ch 30. Date???

It was already the second day of the festival..our class' restaurant has been a hit to the public making us very busy

Busy enough that I almost forgot something... "Desmond, your shift is finish" Anna spoke while she was flipping patties wearing a maid outfit

"Wait really?"

"Yes!" She looks at me with a very serious face.. I never even see her make such face before, she's always calm and friendly..

That's when I remember "crap! I forgot!" I rush out of the makeshift kitchen and went to change my chef costume into my school uniform right in one of the private rooms reserve for emergencies such as this and I go out my way

"Thomas!" I stop right at the entrance, Thomas is wearing a big burger mascot costume while holding a sign outside trying to get more customers

"Yeah?" He seems to be happy with his job

"Cassandra...do you know where Cassandra is?"

"Oh! She said she'll be waiting for you outside the building"

"Thanks!" And I just run off

The academy is busy for the festival, heck the whole city is...Stalls,carts,and various entertainment such as carnival games are set up for people to enjoy

When I arrive outside, Cassandra was standing in the corner wearing a green dress with matching hat and gloves

"Your late"

"Sorry, the restaurant is busy.."

"I know, I'm the acting manager right?" She seems a bit annoyed..I guess the Busy excuse won't work because she's also working on our lil class project event

"Sorry"

"No matter!" She then move her arm towards my arm

"Hmm?"

"Your arm"

She wants me to escort her? "Should we really?"

"Yes" she smiles "why not right?"

I gave in and gave her my arm as we walk... Of the buildings are busy, the outside is also way busier as many attractions made by students of all years are more prominent outside.. specially various food and beverages stands

"Do you want some drink?" I ask her

"Sure do"

. . . . I still feel very awkward in this situation

After buying us some lemonade on disposable cups

We just walk around not really speaking to each other for a straight hour,after that....we're not normally like this, but since that incident on our little vacation...*sigh*

"Are you alright?" She ask looking at me with a worried face

"I am"

"Are you sure?"

"I am, really"

Cassandra looks down and gave a small smile "do you find me annoying now?"

"Huh?"

"I mean..your acting as if you are"

Did I really? I'm just too awkward to do anything... Not really knowing what to do in this situation

"It's not like that at all!-" I explained a bit..and when some people look I clear my throat first before speaking again "I dunno how to tell you this..."

She's still looking at the ground "then.. maybe I should tell you this now.. I don't want something like before to happen..Desmond" she looked at me..her face is flushed "I-"
