Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Pichu and Zero had entered a cave entrance on the side of a huge mountain in the middle of the Sinnoh region. They were immediately met with a rocky wall. The three Pokémon didn't know what to do since they don't know Rock Climb, but Zero started crawling up the rocky wall. The three Pokémon all hung on to Zero as he climbed up the short wall and onto the higher level. Right in front of them was a staircase and they all walked up it. On the second floor of the mountain, they had come across what they thought was a dead end before Zero saw a boulder. Using his Buster Arm, Zero pushed the boulder aside. With the boulder out the way, the quartet had continued down the path. The quartet walked up a small staircase, across a small bridge, and down another staircase. They had saw another entrance. But it looked like something had been there blocking it and was smashed into pieces.

Before they could enter, Looker had showed up. "Observe, if you will, that hole. There was once a cave painting that had blocked the way to the summit. But the wall, it is no longer there. It lies in pieces. Do you see?" Looker asked Zero. "Of course I do." Zero replied. "Isn't it obvious?" "Ever since the three Pokémon of the lakes have been captured... Something terrible is happening, but what exactly, I do not know. There is but one cause! Team Galactic's Cyrus! And now, we are all caught up. Now, to the next step. Team Galactic is beyond my reach... Please, you must stop Team Galactic!" Looker told Zero. Zero and the three Pokémon then walked through the entrance. In front of them was a flight of stairs. They walked up and found what appeared to be an exit. They exited the cave and were instantly met with snow everywhere. All over the ground. They also found two weird creatures that didn't even look like Pokémon. They were small white bipedal yeti-like creatures with beaks. These weren't Pokémon, these were Topis.

One Topi began to attack the group before Jigglypuff ran over and Wake Up Slapped the abominable creature. Taking it out. The other Topi also tried to attack, but Jigglypuff Rolledout and knocked the Topi down like a bowling pin. The quartet came across another rocky wall and Zero climbed it while the three Pokémon hung on to him. They were immediately ambushed by two Topis in a pincer attack, but Pikachu had Thunder Jolted one while Zero shot a buster shot at the other. As the four had moved forward, they found another boulder to which Zero had moved out of the way. They walked up the small flight of stairs up ahead before being ambushed by another pair of Topis. Pichu Skull Bashed one Topi while Jigglypuff Rolledout the other. Just ahead, the team saw something in a meditative stance. Just then it opened it's eyes. It was a Lucario.

Lucario immediately hopped over to the group. "Who are you?! State your business now?!" Lucario scolded Zero. "That's none of your concern." Zero replied. "Oh is it?!" Lucario shouted back before taking a fighting stance. Challenging Zero to a duel.

"Unless you're working for Team Galactic, I'm not here to fight you." Zero talked back at Lucario. "Very well." Lucario replied back before undoing his fighting stance. "What even is this Team Galactic?" "They're a criminal organization that seeks to end the universe." Zero replied. "End the universe?" Lucario questioned. "That can't be good. I will assist you then. It is my duty to protect this world." Lucario reached it's hand out to Zero and Zero shook it as a sign of respect. "So where are they?" Lucario asked Zero. "They're up ahead at the Spear Pillar." Zero replied. "We got no time to lose, let's move out!" Lucario said enthusiastically before dashing off. "Hey, at least wait for us!" Zero yelled as him and the other three Pokémon began following Lucario.
