I glanced at Willy. His kind eyes, his serious face as he still held up his hand towards me. After thinking about it for a short moment, I decided to take his hand.

He walked me to the suitcase, which still laid open on the ground. Willy looked at me, before sinking down to the ground, infront of the suitcase. He let go of my hand, so he could pull the suitcase closer to him.

"Have I ever told you that I'm something of a magician?" He asked, as he glanced up at me with this playful look in his eyes.

I raised an eyebrow. Sure, I've noticed that Willy can do some amazing stuff. I've noticed that he's not like other boys. But come on, a magician? It's all fake, ropes and mirrors.

"Is this gonna take long? We shouldn't be standing outside of the police station for too long." I said, feeling stressed already. Willy just waved my worries away.

"Don't worry darling, we'll be out of here in no time. I just need you to understand that I did give you my chocolate factory." He said, his eyes sparkling as he closed the suitcase. It locked itself with a click.

"It doesn't reveal itself to just about anyone." He said slowly, as he opened the locks on the suitcase again. Then, he slowly opened it... I couldn't help but gasp at the shiny chocolate factory. Here it was, with all it's gadgets and ingredients revealed.

I pointed at it. "How did you do that?" I asked, not looking away from the suitcase. What had just been empty bottles and a blanket, was now the tiny factory. In all it's glory. I don't understand how.

Willy looked at me, with the gaze of a overjoyed child. "It's magic, of course. The chocolate factory can only be opened by people I trust."

"I... Dropped it."

"Yes you did, and the floor is what technically opened the suitcase. But if you were to open it..." With that, he closed the factory again. Reverting it back into a regular suitcase.

Hesitantly, I sank down on my knees, beside Willy. Shoulder to shoulder, as he pushed the suitcase towards me. He spectated me, waiting for me to open it.

I held my breath as I unlocked the suitcase, opened it... And just like he said, there it was. The chocolate factory.

"It's for safety, you see." He explained. Then he took a deep breath, and slowly raised a hand to touch my chin, pushing a strand of my hair behind my ear. That simple touch of his fingertips felt like fire against my skin. I looked at him, as he continued talking. "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about the magic in it before. The thought sincerely didn't cross my mind at all."

Suddenly, the last of the doubts I had on Willy seemed to melt away. All the anger I felt, vanished as I met his gaze.

I'm not really a close person. But to my own surprise, I turned towards him. Slowly, quite unsure of what I was doing, I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him. I could feel his body tense, but he quickly relaxed and I felt him hug me back.

"I'm sorry too." I whispered as I pulled away. Suddenly feeling awkward, I shot up from the ground.

"Y/n," Willy said in a sing-song, as he stood up from the ground. He flashed me a playful smile. "Was that an apology I heard?"

"Don't get used to it, pretty boy." I shot back at him. But couldn't help but smile.

Willy Wonka trusts me. It's been a long time since someone actually did. It filled me with this warm, fuzzy, unknown feeling. I kind of don't hate it?

Since we were still outside of the police station, we decided to get moving. Willy held the suitcase in his hand.

"I know where Slugworth is hiding the accounts book. In the wall in his office. What I don't know is how we're going to get it." I told him as we were walking. Willy shrugged.

"We'll think of another plan. One that doesn't involve putting you in danger." He said, as he looked at me in a way I can't describe.

The stars above us shimmered across the nightskye. I noticed that the streets were empty of people, as we walked through. I glanced up at the brown haired boy. The silver light of the moon made him look even more majestic. His high cheekbones, his lively eyes and...

Stop. What am I doing? I forced myself to look away, as I felt my cheeks heating up. Why am I staring at him? And the way he glanced back at me with this huge smile made me realise that he surely had noticed.

"Don't get any ideas. I still dislike you and think that you are way too naive." I quickly said, in a attempt to save whatever pride I had left.

Willy quirked an eyebrow, a smirk spreading across his face. His eyes sparkled.

"I think you like me." He said teasingly. That made me choke on air. After I was done coughing, I laughed.

"Oh, you wish, pretty boy."

"That, I do." He answered simply. I didn't know what to answer to that.
