Back in the auditorium, where Eijin's battle with Victor intensified, he muttered to himself, "I need to take down the warlock first." Eijin knew he had to devise a plan quickly as he couldn't prolong the battle any longer. The guards would arrive at any moment, and he was aware that the booming sound from the collapsed floor couldn't be contained, attracting attention.

Suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind. With a swift, blurring move, he ran and leaped back to the second floor.

Victor, thinking that Eijin was attempting to escape, swiftly followed suit and leaped onto the second floor. His eyes sharpened as he scanned the area, searching for Eijin, but to his surprise, he couldn't see him anywhere.

Unbeknownst to them, before Victor arrived on the second floor, Eijin had already teleported back to the auditorium, taking cover behind a large column in the shadows. His symbiotes changed colors like a chameleon, effectively concealing his presence.

"Could it be that he escaped?" Victor pondered to himself, then exclaimed back to the auditorium below, "Marthis, can you sense him?"

Upon hearing Victor's voice, Eijin unleashed a blast below the large hole where the second floor had collapsed.

Almost all of the solar energy stored within his symbiotes was unleashed in a devastating manner. Along the path of the blast, a spherical force field came into view, with the warlock standing behind it, struggling to maintain its force against Eijin's powerful attack. Cracks began to form on the force field, unable to withstand the force of the blast. The warlock fell to his knees as the force field gave way, staggering backwards under the relentless assault of the blast.

"Well done, babe!" Eijin said to Mara telepathically. She had been monitoring his battle all along, providing invaluable assistance with her strategic thinking. "You deserve a kiss..." he paused, teasingly. "...on the forehead," he added with a smirk.

Mara blushed but responded with a hint of disappointment, "Hey! What am I, your grandmother?"

Rachel, who was beside Mara, burst into laughter, unable to contain herself.

As the blast subsided, leaving a gaping hole in the walls that pierced through every structure caught in its path, the destruction extended all the way to the forest outside. The lifeless body of the warlock was revealed, a testament to the overwhelming power of Eijin's attack.

At the same time, the lifeless bodies of the two bulky demons who were meant to reinforce Victor were also discovered. It appeared that they really had their bad luck, inadvertently caught in the blast and died on the spot.

"How did you know?" Victor growled as he lunged straight towards Eijin, his fingers extended and his sharp nails resembling pointed knives ready to stab Eijin. "Die!!!" he shouted in pure anger.

Eijin swiftly shifted his gaze, able to see Victor's movements clearly. Without the buff provided by the warlock, Victor's actions appeared to slow down. Even though Victor still possessed the stone of Ka-linga, it proved insufficient to match Eijin's power.

Before Victor could reach Eijin's chest, he was intercepted by a large bladed weapon that emerged from Eijin's left hand. The blade pierced through Victor's back, its size nearly cutting him in half. Black blood spurted from Victor's mouth as his eyes widened, feeling his life force rapidly leaving his body.

"I-..." Victor attempted to say something, but before he could utter a word, his vision turned upside down. In a gruesome defeat, he was decapitated, meeting his ultimate demise at the hands of Eijin.

Victor's skin turned to ash as Eijin retracted the bladed weapon back into his arm. He moved slowly, his mind focused on the urgency of getting back to Elise. However, his plans were abruptly halted when a barrage of bullets rained down upon him. It was the private army of the governor, determined to bring him down.

Reacting swiftly, Eijin's symbiotes formed an abstract shield to protect him. Though Eijin's skin was tough, he was not impervious to bullets. His instinct compelled him to neutralize the threat, and with precise and deadly moves, he launched into action. Moving at a blurring speed, he slashed through anyone in his path. Those beyond his reach fell victim to his bladed projectiles.

The governor's army was no ordinary force; it consisted mostly of vampires, werewolves, and demons with paramilitary training and expertise.

As Eijin continued to fight off the growing numbers of the army, Mara's telepathic voice filled his mind with concern. "Eijin, take Elise and get out of there now!" she urged, her worry evident in her tone.

Rachel chimed in, echoing Mara's sentiment. "Yes, Eijin, our priority is to save Elise," she emphasized, her voice also laced with concern.

Taking their words to heart, Eijin cleared a path back to the second floor, determined to retrieve Elise. Just as he was about to reach her, he witnessed some of the army members being sent flying, their blood splattering against the wall.

It was Kristine, making her way through the chaos.

Eijin's heart swelled with hidden joy, realizing that the leader of the Shadowstrike had arrived. "She's really good," he thought to himself, acknowledging her skills.

"I heard that," Mara interjected, her thoughts tinged with a hint of jealousy.

Eijin smirked, realizing that their telepathic connection was still intact.

However, Eijin's initial gladness quickly turned to worry as he noticed that the leader of the Shadowstrike was fighting alone. "Could it be that something bad happened to the rest of the team?" he pondered, concerns filling his thoughts.

"That's it! I've had enough!" Mara interjected once again through their telepathic connection. "You need to come home right now, Eijin. We have a lot to discuss," she asserted, acting as if they were a couple.

Rachel couldn't help but laugh, observing Mara's pouting expression and crossed arms. She found their interaction amusing.

Eijin wanted to assist the leader of the Shadowstrike, but she appeared to be holding her own in the battle. A sigh of relief washed over him when he spotted two other members of the Shadowstrike team, one with red hair and the other with blue hair, making their way inside.

Seizing the opportunity, Eijin leaped back to the second floor to retrieve Elise from the back of a large cabinet where he had hidden her for protection. As he held Elise in his arms, the chaos below suddenly ceased, and the three Shadowstrike members emerged from the turmoil.
