"Mr. Agreste, don't look back. Don't repeat your past mistakes." Ladybug took the brooches from him. "So long as this remains true, we won't have any issues. For now, you're free. No one knows who Hawk Moth was except for me."
"Thank you, Ladybug," Gabriel replied, a remorseful smile on his face. "I'm sorry for what I've done."
"Your apology is accepted. Good day, both of you."
Then Ladybug was gone.
"You made the right choice," Nathalie told him quietly.
He sat in a living room chair. "I did and I don't regret it." He looked up at her. "I won't look back, Nathalie, I promise."
She smiled. "Then neither will I. Emilie would be proud of you." She brushed her fingers over the back of his hand. "I know I am."
His expression held only peace. "We'll move forward, all three of us." He returned the touch, fingertips caressing hers.
