He pouted. "But, Nathalie, how much more time do you need? You already told him how you feel, so what's the problem?"
"I don't think he's ready yet. It's a lot to ask for him to move past your mother."
"You know, I talked to him too, Nathalie. I don't think that's what it is. You're both scared of change," Adrien decided, "but you don't have to be."
"Tell me again what you think of all this."
He grinned. "You already know. I've been hoping for you two to get together ever since I noticed how happy you make him. So, a few years, now."
"That's a long wait."
"Yep, but I'm patient." He crossed his arms. "But please don't take forever. My patience might not last that long. Go talk to him, okay? I promise you won't be disappointed."
