initiating the cloaking device of the prowler the men were all armed with tranq rifles, that will knock out any who are struck with it for several hours at least, fuyuhito has no wish to kill anyone here, the makeshift base of misato katsuragi was undermanned which made their lives significantly easier
"remember the mission, the moment i am aboard unit-01, book it back to the prowler do not stick around if just one of you is captured we will have to do this all over again to rescue you" i said
"don't worry your excellency, we know the plan" the sergeant who was the XO of this operation said i nodded
"right let's go" i said
"scatter lads, you know your tasks" the man said, and the men and women all went their separate ways, fuyuhito waited for his signal which came a few minutes later as the alarms around the base started blaring
using the opportunity, i made my way to unit-01, using unit-13 to lead me to my destination
"why am i not surprised there are yet more insurgents intent on stealing unit-01, you failed to get the thing to move the last dozen times, you'll fail this time too" misato said
"maybe, maybe not" i said jumping into the entry plug, as it closed up, she cursed, getting the would be pilot out was difficult
"thanatos-alpha, to all units, mission complete, repeat mission complete, prepare prowler for pick-up" i said, every single officer heard that and began to make a fighting retreat back to their ship, as to misato's shock, unit-01 did in fact activate and it began to move
"shit, they actually had a pilot yui would respond to, fuck" misato said as she got on her comms
"code red, repeat code red, those bastards actually succeeded, unit-01 is on the move, repeat EVA unit-01 has activated and is on the move" misato said, as unit-01 exited the aircraft hanger that being used to house it, i made my way towards the edge of the base, where to EVAs were active in an attempt to stop unit from escaping
"thanatos-alpha to prowler copy" i said
"we copy, thanatos-alpha" the sergeant said
"thanatos-alpha ready for evac, over" i said
"ETA two minutes, thanatos-alpha" came the reply
"roger prowler, right then let's play" i said as unit-01 held out it's hand and the spear of unit-13 appeared as it brought the spear down ready for combat, unit-02 was the first to move charging at unit-01
"you haven't changed, asuka, it's kinda sad" i said, as controlled unit-01 to parry her assault before kicking her to the side, looking towards the other EVA
"hey come now, we don't have to fight, why don't you just surrender and we can talk about this" the pink EVAs pilot said
"i know the identity of unit-02's pilot, who might you be" i asked curiously, this drew flags from everyone in the base, as there was no way in hell, the other pilot wasn't know unless this wasn't SEELE's machinations, then it hit misato like a ton of bricks
"shinji, shinji is that you" misato said
"ah there it is, i wondered how long it'd take" i said
"shinji what the hell are you doing" misato demanded, taking that as confirmation
"it's fuyuhito, shinosuke fuyuhito, and leaving what's it look like" i asked
"prowler to thanatos-alpha" the sergeant's voice cut in
"this is alpha go ahead" i said
"jump" came the sergeant's reply, in response unit-01 took a leap into the air, grabbing onto the prowler, taking the opportunity i climbed onto the prowler which formed a small platform for my EVA
misato was staring at what she saw as unit-01 standing on air
"who does shinji work for that they have invisibility tech" misato asked in shock, as she watched unit-01 fly off, at pretty fast speeds, they wouldn't be able to keep up with it, but misato could guess where they were going, if shinji was involved
"prepare the wunder, we're heading for tokyo-three, inform the higher-ups, shinji ikari has returned and has taken unit-01, we are moving to capture him as we speak" misato said, to one of her officers
