New Feelings

As I watched Stein finish dinner, I tried to help him by setting up the table. He pushed me away from the table, back to the couch where I was stuck watching TV. "But..... I can't let you just do everything! That's not polite of a host to do... May I ple..." He interrupted me and told me to enjoy some relaxing time. "I'm here to help you and give you time to heal. Now please, relax beautiful." I smiled and didn't fight because I was too weak to try.

~Time Skip of 10 minutes~

"Dinner is served!" I heard Stein call to me from only a few feet away. "Well, if I'm so weak, then why are you expecting me to walk?!" I said jokingly to see if I could push a few buttons. Stein walked over to me and got down on one knee and picked me up bridal style. "WAIT! I WAS JUST KIDDING!" I said giggling and felt myself blushing because of the attention he was giving me. "I'm NOT kidding, now am I?" He set me down gently in the chair and pushed me into the table. "You were blushing again... You are adorable so I think I'm going to make you blush more!" I shake my head and smile. "I'm just going to enjoy this amazing meal you have prepared for us. I guess we dig in!" He nodded his head with a smile and took off his glasses revealing his beautiful green eyes. We sat at dinner eating in silence. I sat there enjoying the first real meal I had in a couple of years. After dinner, I wasn't able to get a bathe or shower because of the stitches I would have for a few days. I picked up my dishes and walked to the sink, rinsed them off as Stein came up behind me and set his dishes in the sink. He had taken my hands in his and dried them off. He took my now dried hands in his and played with my fingers for a few minutes. I let him because it was cute and sweet that he thought I was so 'adorable'. I've never thought about myself in that kind of way, being attractive or cute. This new feeling I could tell he was giving me, was one I would never want to lose. He stopped playing with my fingers and looked into my eyes. "Go get into a pair of pajamas so you can get ready for bed. I was wondering if you would like to watch a movie with me before bed?" I shrugged my shoulders and said why not. He had already put a garbage bag over the window to prevent too much cold air from coming in. I slipped into a warm and loose pair of pajamas. I walked out of my bedroom and found my teacher sitting on my floor trying to pick a movie he wants to watch. He gave me the three choices he wanted, "Soul Surfer, National Treasure, or Insidious. Those are your only choices." I've watched Soul Surfer and National Treasure to the point were the disk were about to break. Insidious was meant for a friend that I never had. "Let's watch Insidious... Your other choices I've watched too much, they're boring now." He smiled and put the CD in the CD player. I jumped over the back of the couch and sat down on the right side of it. Stein walked into my room with his clothes. "If you need anything, just tell me!" I yelled to him as I watched the ads before the movie.
