Standing in Fear

A/n: Most of the dialog for the next few chapters are from anime itself. I loved the ending itself because it was greatly enjoyable. So I'm giving the credit to the writers of the scripts. Any dialog between you and anyone else, never happened (Obviously).

Kid fell to his face and all Black Star and I could do was stand in fear. Black Star and I again stood in defense as many words were said, all were none that interested me and had me missing madness. That's when the earth beneath our feet started to tremble and Kid's body started to glow pink. His soul exploded and his body stood up. We could see the stripes from his hair on his soul, the stripes in his hair became symmetrical, and Liz & Patty in weapon form became stronger.

"The Lines of Sanzu. I remeber you now..." Asura said with great fear. He finally realized who he was dealing with. He realized Kid was the son of the Grim Reaper himself. Now the real fight was beginning. Asura showed his weapon and started firing at Kid. Black Star and I stole his attention back though. After many attacks, Black Star had knocked the Kishin over. We gave Kid the cue to fire. He fired away with his new and improved Death Canon, more like Death Ray. Kid had a great shot and hit the Kishin with all his might. His eyes went from glowing blue to normal when he seemed to collapse again.

"It'll take more than that to kill him." Black Star said as Liz and Patty worried about him.

After watching the ashed up body of the Kishin, his eyes glowed red. That's when the ashes disappeared and a more human version of Asura came back. Black Star decided then and there that this was the day he would surpass God.

As I stood in defense to protect Kid, Soul, and Maka. I was relieved when I heard Maka and Soul's voices. I turned around and saw that Maka and Soul were conscious again. They got up and saw me and asked where the others were but before i got a chance, they found a pile of Kid, Liz, and Patty horribly injured. They also found Black Star and Tsubaki in a pile of their own. The Kishin started speaking and all I could feel was anger and rage. I knew that we were going to win this battle but were my friends going to die in the process? I knew the real show was about to begin. This was Maka and Soul's fight and i was nothing but a waste of time for the Kishin. Soul and Maka's Genie Hunter technique is the only thing that can kill Asura, I was better off checking on everyone else and get them to a safer place.

The Genie Hunter was working but if they can't get close to him, then we are just done for. I continue to help the wounded and bring them to an area hidden behind rocks. I peaked over the rocks to see what was going on. Maka and Soul were using a technique I've never seen before. With great energy and power i've never seen before. It was Kishin Hunter! A power so strong and hard to use. Soul's blade was partially in his chest when he took it out. I knew words were being said but i couldn't hear them. It was impossible to make them out but Maka ended up falling on her back and Soul was no longer Kishin Hunter.

As Asura started to show his weapon, and fired at Maka only for Soul to block it. He ended up falling to his knees and on her lap as for he couldn't fight anymore. Asura continued his taunting words as Maka got up and started attacking him with her bare fist. After attacking him multiple times and getting flung back to the ground, she continued to get up. Her final stand ended with her risking her life to save Soul, and save Soul she did. Asura started to walk away until Maka got up surprisingly.
