She saw how this guy used her.

She was not going to be tricked by his charms.

"...Thank you for coming to us without resistance. We are thankful."

"Why am I here?"

"We need you."

Ever since everything happened with Reich, Y/N felt she changed.

She couldn't be as kind to everyone as before.

So what? Do they even deserve her kindness?

She was kind and it lead to a crazy cannibal trying to trick her into marriage to then next eat her.

Probably.

She was annoyed about the thought that he thinks that she is naive enough to believe that she's 'the chosen one' or some other type of crap.

She looked at the man before her.

The tall man was imposing a heavy aura.

He was waiting for her reaction.

A reaction where she'll do anything he asks.

Guess what?

This doesn't intimidate her in the least.

She stared dead in the man's eye, as the other was hidden behind the eye-patch.

"Yeah, right. What do you even need me for?"

'Your sick intentions and wants?'

She thought not so sarcastically in her mind.

The man didn't mind the rudeness and he simply replied:

"An alliance."

Alliance?

Does he mean marriage?

No. Why would she want that?

She decided to play safe for now.

"Do you really think I want an alliance with you?"

The man was surprised.

He raised an eyebrow.

"You don't want an alliance? I thought the people in the resistance wanted one."

"Well, then I guess I am not like other people."

The man's eyes widened.

He laid on the back of his chair and he closed his eyes.

He looked defeated for some reason.

He grabbed his temples and he rubbed them.

He looked annoyed.

He opened his eyes and he put his big, strong hand on the desk.

"Look lady, we need you to end this war. The information you provided to us was strangely accurate."

He stood up quickly from his seat.

The girl was surprised.

She never thought he was capable of being this fast.

The man continued his explaining:

"I can't imagine how many deaths you prevented from that single piece of information. It was of great help."

He then went in front of her, across the desk and he put his both hands on the table. He leaned before and he stared her down.

Their faces were only some inches apart.
