Ella quickly hurried out of her class as she needed to get picked up as soon as possible for her day with Lila after school today. Though the thought of Gabriel still consumed Ella's head. Especially since he hasn't been present lately; as Ella hadn't seen him since that day. Though her thoughts were quickly interrupted when a hand tapped her shoulder causing her to come to a staggering halt and turn around and gaze upon Kagami.
"So, did you ask him?" She asked with worry. "He seemed as if he cared nothing for my presents. He's not normally doesn't act like that."
Ella stared at her blankly for a second till her shoulders fell letting out a sad sigh, "I forgot to. I'm sorry, I've totally blanked on the whole thing. I'm sure he didn't mean too. I'm just about to get in the car with him, do you want me to ask him then?"
The sparkle that once filled Kagami's eyes was now dissipated, "Yeah. Wait- you're still asking Nino right?"
Ella began to walk with her out the door, "He's not here today, so I was just going to ask Adrien. I'm sure he'll think nothing of it."
"Yes, he probably won't," Kagami spoke. "I'll meet with you later, Ella. Goodbye."
"Okay, I'll make sure to find you once I know. Goodbye Kagami," Ella walked away from her friend, made it into her car, and seated herself next to her brother.
"Your father is- He requested that the two of you would refrain from entering his office today," Nathalie spoke, cleaning up her glasses. "I would hope you two would just stay away from him today."
Ella looked out the window rolling her eyes and let out a little humph. Adrien on the other hand dug his thumb into his right hand and let out shaky breaths as the car drove away from the school. Once calmed he took out his phone which opened to his reminder app, the first one he read was the first he would delete. Hang out with dad.
