So guys,I thought it would be better if I would inform you all.
See guys,Wattpad is basically a platform where writers post their stories,readers read them and all the users connect with each other.
As a writer, it's my duty to inform you all about an incident which occurred with me,so that you all can be aware of the same.

There is an option of private messages on Wattpad. But I request you all to be aware to whom and what type of person you are sending the message.

There are a lot of people on Wattpad whose intentions aren't good and they aren't what they seem to be.

Here is the piece of conversation as an example which occured with me-

Savior_wolf was the other user's Id and pari70027002 was my id.Well,if you are wondering why I am using was,then the reason is I have closed my other account and the other user have changed his id. I have mentioned his new id below-

The guy's name is Ranveer and he is from Australia as he had told me. But,I don't believe him though,as you can see that Ranveer is an Indian name.
Also,see what type of a disgusting person he is.

When any girl faces a situation like this,they get frightened and take matter in their hands without informing anyone.

So readers,I suggest you one thing. Whenever such incident occurs with you, don't be afraid of it. It's not your fault. Understand this and follow these steps -

1.Block and mute that person at that instant itself. Due to this,that another user won't be able to follow you,comment on your stories or send you messages.

2.Talk with your parents or any other elder whom you trust and ask for advice.

3.Report to Wattpad community and keep updates on the issue,unless and until you receive the e-mail that your ticket is closed and that they have read the whole conversation which took place with you and that user.

4.If you are feeling insecure,just like me,then open Wattpad website on laptop and log into your account.
Then click on your profile. Go to settings and when the next page will open,you'll be able to see an option of close account. Click on it,fill the necessary details and enter your password.

Your account will be deactivated at first,so don't login again.
If you wanna check that whether your account is deactivated or not,then-

Type in https://www.wattpad.com/user/yourusername replacing 'yourusername' with the username of the account that you just closed.

If you've closed your account, then you should get a 'User not found' page.

5.Don't login into that account for atleast 6 months. At the end of six months,due to absence of any activity,your account will be permanently deleted.

For mobile users,you have to submit a request and the process will take a long time,so I suggest to use your friend's laptop if you ain't having yours. But do finish it by yourself,unless you are 101% sure that you are safe.

Trust me, don't take the matter in your hands,talk with someone regarding this,or it'll only get worse.

This guy who had messaged me tried to copy my other id on Wattpad and changed his profile picture according to it. His new Wattpad id is- sylum_dyler
So readers and writers be aware.

Secondly,just for your information, whenever you block or mute a person, according to Wattpad protocols, that person won't know unless he/she tries to send you message. So my dear readers, don't feel pressurized and start to feel uncomfortable with their conversation. If a particular user is irritating the hell out of you ,block and mute them.

And don't reply to private messages of any unknown person. Try to chat via public chat itself.

If the person still doesn't stop,only one option remains. That is,to close your account.

I didn't want him to be intouch with me,cause that user knew my previous IDs and all,so I closed both of my accounts and backed off. Now,I have blocked him via this Id as well.
So he can't do any sort of communication with me.

Last but not the least, before leaving Wattpad community,I wrote this message in my book as well and announced it to my followers. But, unfortunately,the person for whom the message was, didn't see it and in the end,when you close your account,all your votes, comments and stories are removed eventually.

So,I wanna express my gratitude to Mahqtab6. He is one of the best person I know here on Wattpad. He supported me and helped me when I messaged my fellow users about this incident. So,I really wanna thank you for this.
