[3 days after Marineford.]
You finally opened your eyes but the light hurt, adding to your already throbbing headache, and made your eyes close in pain.
Your head was pounding and it felt like everything around you was so loud and bright when it was actually really quiet though the lights were still bright, at least to your eyes it was.
It was actually more like everything hurt. Your head was only one of the many parts of your body that were in an almost agonising pain.
Your muscles were all sore and specifically one sode of your waist was im pain as well.
If it wasn't the new sound of footsteps then you probably wouldn't have reopened your eyes but you kinda had to see who it was.
You had tried to sit up and despite all of your body in an constant pain you actually managed to do it.
A lot of what happened at Marineford was a blur.
You could remember the start. Seeing Ace on for his execution.
You could remember almost seeing a lot of people die.
You could remember fighting along side with his brother.
You could remember actually being able to see him again and for a brief moment actually speak to him again.
You could remember him trying to save his brother from Akainu.
You could remember pulling them both out of the way.
You could remember how he gave you this agonising pain as he grabbed you by your waist to try and stop you.

The last thing that you could recall was Marco practically shouting orders at you. You could vaguely remember going back to the ship but anything after that you couldn't. That was probably when you passed out.
How long have I been out for?
Your train of thought was interrupted by Marco opening your door.
Looks like he either knew that you were awake or somehow knew that this is when you were gonna wake up cause he didn't look shocked at all.
"Glad to see your finally awake-yoi."
You probably never thought you'd actually say this but hearing his voice was actually sort of comforting in a way.
Marco told you everything about what happened after Marineford.
Apparently Aces brother Luffy was here for a brief amount of time to make sure his brother would be okay.
Though Marco told you everything except if Ace was stable or okay for a while.
Mainly because he knew you would leave the room without a care in the world about your own injuries just so then you can see him again.
He talked about what happened after you passed out, your injuries and pretty much everyone elses condition that you would want/need to know.
