Synopsis

Have you ever had a secret that you couldn't tell anyone about? I myself have one particular secret. 'Pran' and I have been enemies for as long as I can remember. We've despised each other since our parents' generation. The grudge has been directly transmitted through our bloodlines. But it's funny that we've always lived neither too close nor too far from each other. Our houses are next to each other, we went to the same school, and we even got into the same university, just in different faculties. I thought once we became freshmen, we would finally get a break from fighting each other, but no such luck. My faculty and his turned out to be rival faculties. The hatred passed down through generations once again. Whenever we see each other, it has to escalate into a brawl as if aiming for death. But who would know, the hostility we show to the public, in reality, behind the curtain, something is being hidden.

What I Think
The novel version of Bad Buddy is way more intense and filled with angst compared to the Thai drama, but honestly, I ended up loving the novel for different reasons. I have a soft spot for stories that really pull on your emotions, and even though this novel starts off kind of toxic, I still found myself really into it. I'm not going to compare it to the drama since they're pretty different, with just a few similarities.
But really, I just have to say – I absolutely adore Patpran and OhmNanon. That's it. ♡
