Synopsis

What I Think
I was really eager to read this book, but once I started, I found myself just wanting to get through it.
I picked up the book because I watched the TV series and wanted more details. While I did discover some interesting bits that the series missed, halfway through, I was over it, especially with the couples.
Kamon and Kim's story started with Kim looking for comfort and ending up with a perverted mafia boss. The whole "now you live with me and be my wife" scenario was something straight out of a typical fiction, which was fine, but the excessive and unnecessary drama just got to me. It felt like it was just there to fill up space and ended up being annoying and toxic.
Then there's the secondary couple, Kom and Baibun. The significant age difference between them just didn't sit right with me. Baibun was the sweetest character in the book, and I felt like he needed protection, not Kom's overbearing nature.
In the end, both couples just exhausted me.
The book's okay if you're looking to kill time, but you'll need a lot of patience to get through it.
