Synopsis

Are there moments or situations that make you want to curse out loud, like when you're walking on the street and suddenly a car splashes water all over you? Or when you go to a movie with high expectations only to find out it's not what you thought it would be? For me, it's when I realize I've inadvertently given my heart to someone, invested everything I have, but that person is just a close friend in the group who never looks back at me. Waking up every morning to see their face and being close to them every day, only to watch them take someone else back to their room every night. Do you know how utterly not okay that situation is? But no matter how many times I have to curse, listen to sad songs, and stand under the shower to soothe my heart, tomorrow the secret will still be a secret. All I can do is keep my mouth shut and continue my one-sided love. All because we are friends (not anymore).

What I Think

The story begins with the protagonist secretly in love with a friend, leading to emotional hurt due to the love interest's harsh behavior, prompting a decision to move on. However, the twist comes when the love interest discovers the hidden affection and realizes he has feelings for his friend too, thus becoming the one to pursue the protagonist. That's the whole story.

Initially, it was enjoyable despite some excessive vulgar language. However, the narrative becomes less engaging when the love interest starts to woo the protagonist back, revolving around repetitive flirtation and unnecessary dialogue. The transformation of the love interest from a playboy to a somewhat clingy figure in the latter half feels unconvincing and hard to relate to. However, the dynamics within the group of close friends, where forgiveness and understanding prevail, are appreciated.
