Title: Transplant
Synopsis
Dr. Bunnakit was hoping for peace and happiness after he and his lover, Teacher Tan, moved to Bangkok. However, it seems that his life is about to face new challenges when Bunnakit conducts an autopsy on a deceased person with only one kidney. Follow the mysterious case and continue the story from "Manner of Death" in "Plant, Transplant, Die."
What I Think
I got hooked on this sequel to "Manner of Death" right away. Now that Tan and Bun are a couple, we get to enjoy more of their sweet moments, not to mention some Tatsorn moments too. Although I found the transplant plotline a bit less thrilling compared to "Manner of Death," the writing was still top-notch. However, I did get a bit confused when the point of view changed, as there were no clear indicators. I often had to figure out whose perspective it was from the first few sentences, which might be due to a translation issue. Despite this, I really liked the book and I'm eager to read more translations of Sammon's works.
