What I Think
I really enjoyed this story, which is split into two parts. The author did a great job of bringing the settings to life using language from the past. Honestly, just normal conversations in the story make me blush, and flirting scenes? Even more so. I loved that it's set in Chiang Mai and includes phrases in the northern dialect – it adds a fun touch.
What stood out to me was how, by the end of the story, everything made sense. I wasn't confused at all; I got why the characters did what they did and why events unfolded as they did. The writer linked everything so well that you see there's a reason behind every detail.
And oh, the love between Khun Yai and Father Chom is just so touching. It's also really sweet and a bit funny when they interact. Khun Yai's younger sibling is another character I adore, especially in scenes with Jomplai and Jom – so much cuteness! And we can't forget about Moo Hope. Reading about Hope brought joy and everyone seems to love this character. Overall, a delightful read!
