Weeks passed and Jisung was stuck on the damn note that minho left on the cafe bar table that night.

In a way he knew that it insinuates nothing inappropriate but he didn't manage to believe that it didn't in the tiniest bit refer to something romantic.

The way it was wrote was just made to deceive the eyes and confuse the person who reads it.

Not that Jisung exactly wanted a relationship with Minho but it just confused him that it could imply so many different things.

A sexual relationship

Just a relationship

A friendship

A better working partner relationship and so on.

It had Jisung stumped.

What on earth did Minho mean?

Throughout all of Jisung's over thinking the new york trip was getting closer and minho was getting nicer. he started offering jisung coffee in the morning and it really had jisung stuck in a room of confusion.

Each wall had a door but each wall expressed the boy's different ideas to what minho meant.

Now,yes jisung could just ask minho what he meant but then the cycle would restart. He'd think that minho didn't want anything outside of a work relationship and just wanted a better working environment, nothing sexual nor romantic.

Well he didn't plan to ask until curiosity got the best of him and he ended up asking.

Minho just placed Jisung's coffee on the table he was sat at before going to his own desk.

"Wait,Min-Mr Lee" Minho looked up. "mhm?" Jisung took a deep breath. "come here for a minute?" The elder nodded and walked over.

"what did the note mean?" minho lifted an eyebrow. "I'm not following?" Jisung had to take another breath in. "the note you left me the day we argued at the café!"

"ohh that note,it was ages ago. whats wrong?"

"what did it mean? it's has me fucking stumped. what did you want to start?" Minho chuckled watching a tint of pink dust over jisung's nose. "it means whatever you want it to. what did you think?" the younger looked up at the man and really thought. He wasn't even sure if he forgave the man never mind a sexual relationship so that's off the list. a relationship. the second he mentioned a blind date to him, jisung ridiculed him. even if no one heard it. a friendship. the two can't even get along without arguing. so that left him with one option. a better work relationship.

"i...i dont know. i just need to fully understand why im so fucking egotistical and once i've fully forgiven you i guess i can answer you then." minho stared down at Jisung. "you're not egotistical." Jisung's eyes moved up to minho faster than he could register. "i'm not?" the man shook his head. "how are you egotistical? explain and i'll listen."

Jisung sighed. "for years i've been horrible. you've worked overtime because i didn't do sufficient work for so long all because i didn't have the guts to go up to you and say sorry. I want to be honest and i want to forgive you so so much now i think about it the situation was neither our faults. you didn't remember the whole situation and got scared. i was too mad about losing my virginity to a person i didn't love but at least it was someone i knew. Now although i've considered everything i... i don't know. some stupid part in my brain just won't let me forgive you..."

Minho didn't know what face to make nor how to respond.

"sorry...too much?" jisung mumbled in embarrassment. Minho's head was quick to shake.

"Im not sure how to respond. I have all these feelings that i want to express to you and i want to relive that moment just to stay and fix things. I've just confused myself with everything and now im stuck in a web of confusion. I think it'd be best if we spoke later? I need to confirm some last minute things about the trip." Jisung nodded. He himself was now confused. why did minho say that? Yet most of all the trip was mentioned.

By now the trip was in 3 days. Jisung still needed to figure out who was looking after dori for the time he'd be away. he'd settled with felix since felix was really good with cats and he just hoped the boy was able to.

"Well thanks for the coffee sir..." minho nodded and sat at his desk.

By night the two had worked on so many files they were practically asleep. well Jisung was already asleep and minho was on the verge of his face falling flat on the desk.

After his head drooped one too many times he got up and closed all the curtains and turned of one of the two lights.

he had to concentrate if he wanted to finish the files and if he was in secluded light he thought that it would help.

It didn't.

In minutes Minho had joined Jisung in dream land and the two were fast asleep in the comfort of lee minho's office.
