Shehnaaz opened her eyes and found herself in the room. She realised that it was morning. She tried to get up but felt pain in her right leg.
"Ahhh..." She screamed.
Hearing her scream, Sidharth immediately came to her room and asked, "Kya hua?"
"Sidharth mera pair...." She said holding her right leg.
"Kaal raat tum siriyon se gir gayi thi. Pair mein moch aayi hai." Replied Sidharth. "Abhi kuch der pehle doctor dekh ke gaye hai. Zyada move karne ko maana kiya hai unhone. So take rest."
Shehnaaz looked at the plaster on her ankle and asked, "Yeh sab kaise hua?"
"Yeh mujhe tumse puchhna chahiye Shehnaaz." Said Sidharth loudly. "Kya ho raha hai yeh sab? What the hell is happening? Kabhi tumhe high fever ho jaata hai, kabhi tum siriyon se gir jaati ho. Woh bhi kab? Adhi raat ko. Arrey koi problem hai toh baatao na. Mujhe aise pareshan karne mein maza aa raha hai kya tumhe......"
Sidharth suddenly stopped when he noticed that Shehnaaz was crying silently. He realised his mistake. He should have not lost his temper.
He sighed and said, "Shehnaaz, I'm sorry."
Shehnaaz didn't look at him and kept crying silently.
Sidharth sat in front of her and hugged her to stop her cry.
"Baby relax! Tumhari halat dekh ke, I became tensed. Sorry maine tum pe gussa kar diya." Said Sidharth rubbing her back.
"Sidharth..... Woh.....main....."
Shehnaaz was sobbing.
He broke the hug and asked cupping her face, "What happened? Tell me."
"Sidharth yaaha kuch toh hai. Jab se main iss ghar mein aayi hoon, kuch na kuch ho raha hai mere saath. I'm sure, uss raat mujhe jab fever hua tha, maine kuch hallucinate nahi kiya tha. Everything I saw, it was real. Warna yeh sab baar baar nahi hota mere saath. Sidharth trust me, iss ghar mein hi kuch hai. Mujhe bohut darr lag raha hai."
Shehnaaz again started crying.
Sidharth wiped her tears and said, "Darne ki zaroorat nahi hai Shehnaaz. Main hoon na tumhare saath? Aur yeh sab jo bhi ho raha hai, sab tumhare mann ka veham hai. Tum zyada soch rahi ho iss baare mein. Ek baar sochna band kar dogi toh sab kuch automatically thik ho jayega."
"Par Sidharth...."
"Everything will be fine."
Saying that he kissed her forehead and then left her room.
Shehnaaz hold her head and remembered everything she saw. The scenes were driving her mind crazy. She couldn't understand whether it was real or just her imagination.
After sometime, Sidharth left for office as he couldn't take more leaves. But he hired a caretaker for Shehnaaz who was looking after her.
The whole day passed without any problem as the caretaker didn't leave Shehnaaz alone.
In The Evening...
Sidharth came from office and saw Shehnaaz sitting on the sofa.
"Aap aa gaye?" She asked standing up.
"Tumhara pair thik hai abhi?" She asked to which she nodded in yes.
"Abhi dard thoda kam hai. Sayad kaal office jaa paau." She said.
"Kaal office jaane ki kya zaroorat hai? Thoda aur rest kar lo."
"Nahi Sidharth. Maine ek din pehle hi join kiya hai. Abhi se itni chhutti nahi le sakti. Upar se subah boss ka call aaya tha. Aaj company ne ek naya project announce kiya hai. Main uss meeting mein nahi thi isliye Boss gussa the. Phir unhone kaha Advait ke saath baith ke project ke baare mein acche se discuss kar loon."
