"You actually showed up." Liam's voice echoed through the room of requirement. He was sitting on the end of a pretty big bed, the room of requirement only shows itself when a person is in great need to something. Or you can walk past the wall three times and think of what you need the most, and the room will show itself to you.

"You told me to meet you here at 10" I smiled walking up to him, I was scared.

"Come, lay down with me." I could smell the alcohol on his breath from here. He's drunk.
"You seemed tired today, I thought this would be nicer than sleeping in a room with five other girls." He planted a kiss on my neck before he wrapped his arm tightly around my body.
He's not the nicest person when drunk, no one really is but especially not him. He becomes controlling, manipulative. Last time he was drunk he forced himself down on me.

It's not my most fond memory of him, sometimes I wonder if if counts as sexual assault, I never said yes but I never said no, I was scared he would see me differently if I said no. I wanted him to think I was cool.

The Next Day

"Umbridge is a bloody idiot" Ron declared sliding into his seat.
"Coulda told you that myself" Hermione added as Ron rolled his eyes. Umbridge is late to her first lesson, no figures. She's our new Defence against the dark arts teacher and she's already doing a terrible job at it.

There was a little paper machete bird flying in the air, everyone was laughing and throwing stuff at it, eventually Draco Malfoy, a Slytherin boy even hit it. Suddenly it burned up and landed on Parvati's desk. Everyone's heads shot to the back of the class, Umbridge was walking to the front and waved her wand to write on the board.

"Good morning children" She stood there with a smug smile, "Ordinary Wizarding Level Examination, also known as OWLs" She admired the class as she spoke, "study hard and you will be rewarded. Fail to do so and the consequences may be, Severe." She smiled while shrugging her shoulders.

The pink lady flicked her wand as a pile of books started making its way around the room, dropping one on each persons desk. I picked up the book and examined the cover. Dark Arts Defence For Beginners. What a load of bullshit.
"Does that mean we've done all this work the last four years, just to start back at the beginning" I muttered to Hermione, that quickly gained Umbridges attention.
"From now on you will be following a carefully instructed, Ministry approved course spells."

Hermiones hand rose.

"Yes"

"There's nothing in here about using defensive spells" Hermione flicked through the pages as she spoke.

"Using spells?" The pink lady laughed, "well I can't imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom."

"We're not gonna use magic?" I spat at her as the pink lady gave me a filthy look.
"You will be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk free way." She smiled, I rolled my eyes and sat back in my chair.

"What use is that if we're gonna be attacked it won't be risk free" Harry interrupted.

"Students will raise their hands when they speak in my class!" Umbridge snapped back.
Harry and I shared a look.

"Pop off I guess" Ron and I laughed at my remark.

"It is my review of the Ministry, that a theoretical knowledge would be sufficient to get you through your examinations, which after all is what school is about!" Umbridge smiled.

"And how's theory supposed to prepare us for what's out there?!" Harry spoke.

"There is nothing out there dear. Who do you imagine would want to attack children like yourselves" Umbridge was seeming less calm now, Hermione and I exchanged a worried look before looking back at Harry.

"Oh I don't know, maybe Lord Voldemort." Harry said, those words stung. He's back, he's really back. And my dad supports him. The whole room went silent, everyone if not everyone was looking at Harry.

"Now let me make this, very clear. You have been told that a certain Dark Lord is at large once again. This. Is. a. lie!" Umbridge spat at Harry, she was now standing directly in front of him.

"It's not a lie! I saw him, I fought him!"

"Detention Mr Potter."

"So according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead of his own cause" Harry yelled.

"Cedric Diggorys death was a tragic accident"

"It was murder Voldemort killed him you must know that!"

"ENOUGH!" She yelled, "see me later, my office"
That was intense.
