"Nice serve, Fukunaga!"

The referee blew the whistle and the ball was successfully served into Karasuno's side of the net. Daichi was easily able to pick it up and send it directly to where Kageyama was positioned.

The setter positioned himself near the middle of the net and contemplated on who to send the first toss to. Since it was Nekoma, they've already seen most of what they can do but that doesn't stop them from making a strong start.

He could send it to Hinata and deliver a quick toss from the start or he could send it to [Name] and let the genius intimidate them with his high-level skills. He could even send it to their Ace to show off his power or Tsukishima to show off his height.

He had too many choices but in the end, he decided on the simplest route, the one he was all too familiar with, and the one he'd choose over and over again.

"[Name]!" Kageyama called out as he tossed the ball behind him, right where he knew [Name] would be waiting.

"Me already?" [Name] sighed but complied with the attack anyway. He took a step back and timed his movements with the arrival of the ball. He ran up to the net and jumped, delivering a flawless straight shot onto the back line.

The first point goes to Karasuno easily as {name] set the pace of the match quite high.

"Nice one!" Daichi grinned as he patted the taller boy's back, a hidden sense of satisfaction gleaming behind his eyes when he caught sight of the tensed figure of Kuroo.

The following rallies went on similarly with Karasuno keeping up a short lead due to the many different options Kageyama was switching from. He could toss to [Name] twice in a row before pulling a sudden quick. When Nekoma starts to become a bit wary of the quick attack, they'll have Asahi run up at the same time.

"Nice receive!" Tanaka cheered from the sidelines as Daichi got the ball up once more. The ball flew over to the setter who then gave a fast toss over to Hinata.

The ginger was quick to run up to the side and spike the ball down before anyone could get it. Lev, the one who had been following Hinata, could only sigh as he missed another block.

"Damn, he's so powerful!" He whispered to himself as he looked back to see that even Yaku failed to receive the ball due to its speed.

"Don't mind, Lev! Just a bit more." Yamamoto encouraged the first year.

As the crows and cats went head to head with each other, those who were currently not playing or practicing watched them with various whispers.

"Karasuno really lucked out, huh?" A player from Ubugawa couldn't help but watch the match in amazement as he wiped a bead of sweat on his forehead with a towel. His friend, who was drinking from his water, simply nodded in agreement. "Imagine getting two geniuses on your team at the same time. [Name] the lazy genius and Kageyama the emperor of the court."

Over to Shinzen's coaches, too couldn't help but talk about Karasuno as well while watching the match. "Karasuno's number 10 has his eyes shut whenever he uses that quick attack."

The older coach between the two nodded at the observation. "He was able to do a high-level attack mainly because his setter is highly skilled."

"Nice receive." [Name] called out quietly as he took a step back, watching as the ball headed over to Kageyama as it usually did.  Similarly, Hinata was also watching the ball as he ran up to the net the moment it neared their setter.

He was sure it was going to be him this time. In a flash, he jumped up high with his hand out, ready for the ball.

'He jumped from point A to point C.' Kenma still couldn't believe just how quick Hinata was despite seeing it with his own eyes multiple times.
