Hunter's POV

Sliding down the rubble Wrecker and I began to run towards the old tanks with our backs down. Coming to my tank I opened the doors and then I jumped in. Because it was so dark inside I needed to turn my flashlight on. I began to press buttons all over the system trying to see if this tank was still working.

Wrecker: "No good. How about yours?"

Me: "That one is down too."

I claimed out and then I slid down the tank. I needed to come up with a new plan.

Luna's POV

Man: "You just gonna stand there?"

He asked as he looked at me for a moment before he continued working.

Me: "I'm keeping an eye on you."

Man: "Ah. Not much fun is it? Here. Try this."

He turned around a little so he could throw me something. As I caught it I looked it up closely. It was a golden machine that fit in my hands. I had no idea what it was.

Man: "Look inside."

For a moment I looked at him before I looked inside to see all the colors of the rainbow.

Me: "There are jewels in here?"

Man: "No. It's only reflected glass. It's an optical illusion."

Me: "I've never seen something like this before. So this is not a treasure?"

I asked as I looked at him.

Man: "Oh, for blast's sake. It's a toy. It makes you happy. And believe me, that is worth more than any jewel."

Me: "I believe you that. What's your name?"

Man: "Roman."

He said as he looked back at me.

Me: "Luna."

Tech: "The war chest wasn't ours in the first place."

Echo: "Well, we wouldn't have made better use of it."

Hearing them arguing I approached the ladder and began to climb out of the room.

Tech: "I am simply stating that without the funds from the war chest, we are no worse off than we were before."

Echo: "That's not how I see it."

Coming out of the room I turned my body towards them.

Echo: "The Empire's growing stronger, and we're still doing nothing about it."

He turned around and began to approach the doors.

Me: "Where are you going?"

Echo looked back at me a little.

Echo: "To check for patrols. I'll be back."

With that, he placed his helmet on his head and left threw the doors. Tech and I shared a look before I took a seat on the ground. Crossing my legs I looked down at my hands which were still holding that toy. Roman walked past me with his hands full.

Roman: "Hey, Ace. Think you can lend me that spanner on your belt for a moment?"

Tech: "What are you doing with a model 2 data core?"

Roman: "This here contains a fragment of my people's history. Our culture. Art. Music. Memories."

Tech: "A Separatist archive. Fascinating."
