Luna's POV

As we began to shoot at the beast the thing ran up the wall and disappeared behind another wall. I was pointing my blaster toward the way it went thinking that it would come back. The power in the room brought the lights back online. Looking around I could not see the beast anywhere.

Suddenly a roar was heard. My head snapped to my left to see the creature jumping towards Wrecker from the left. It pushed him off the way and began to run towards Hunter and me. Both of us moved out of the way so the creature could run into another hallway.

Hunter: "Tech, we've got a problem. Get off the ship. Now!"

He yelled before he began to run after the creature with me and Wrecker behind him.

Tech: "I suspect this is some type of research vessel."

Wrecker: "We know!"

Me: "And whatever they were researching just got loose."

Hunter: "And it's headed your way."

Running around the corner we found the creature sucking the energy out of the giant battery. Seeing us the creature tried to hit us with the tail.

Wrecker: "Does that thing look different to you?"

When he said that I saw that he was right. It did look different. And much bigger than before. From behind the creature I saw Tech coming on the other side of the hallway. The creature roared towards him.

Tech: "Fascinating."

Before it could attack him I sent two shots towards it making it look back at us. Hunter and Wrecker began to shoot at it.

Tech: "TAKE COVER!"

Wrecker's hands came around me and he placed me against the wall shielding me with his body. A loud explosion was heard and as Wrecker moved his body I walked past him back to the hallway where the creature was supposed to be. It was gone.

I ran after Tech who ran outside the hole that the blast created and saw the creature's tail disappearing into the darkness.

Tech: "The creature appears to be headed in the direction of the village."

Hunter: "We're the ones who let it out. We have to neutralize it before it hurts anyone."

Wrecker: "How? Our blasters are useless on it."

Tech: "Given the fact that the creature most likely ate the crew, I doubt it is currently hungry--"

Me: "It ate the crew?"

I asked in shock as I took a step back hitting my back against Wrecker's chest. It was strange not to see anyone on board, but I did not expect the creature to eat everyone on board.

Wrecker: "How is this helping, Tech?"

He asked as he placed his hand on my shoulder. Tech lifted his finger to continue talking when Hunter stepped forward.

Hunter: "Access the lab files, and find out what species we're eating with and how to stop it."

Me: "I can help you Tech."

Hunter: "Go. Wrecker with me."

Without a second taught I followed Tech back onto the ship.

Hunter's POV

As Wrecker and I came running up to the Marauder I took a seat behind the wheel as Wrecker took a seat behind the gun. Lifting the ship I began to fly towards the city. Threw the monitor I could see the seat signal just under us.
