Hunter's POV

I took another sip of my water when my eyes looked towards the moon-yos that suddenly ran away from the house looking scared. Getting a bad feeling I stood up and approached the fence looking down at the whole city. Every moon-yo that I saw was running away in panic.

Phee: "What's wrong?"

I looked back toward Wrecker and Shep to see that the hanging lights behind them were moving from one side to another a little. Not much just a little.

Me: "Something's coming. We need to..."

At that moment the grounds began to shake making me almost lose my balance. I took hold of the fence and stood still until the grounds stopped shooting. I press the button on my comm device.

Me: "Luna, come in. Are you two okay?"

Luna: "Yeah we are. We are getting back to shore now."

Shep: "Is everyone alright?"

He called to the people around. Some of them placed their hands up telling us that they were.

Wrecker: "Well, that was different."

Shep: "Uh, a small tremor. It's nothing to worry about. Part of island life."

Me: "I don't think it's over yet."

In that moment the grounds began to shake once more. People began to run around screaming in panic as they were trying to get away from the falling objects.

Me: "That was not a small tremor."

I said as the shaking stopped.

Shep: "No, it was not."

Tech: "Hunter, I believe this island is at risk for a significant sea surge."

Me: "How much risk?"

Tech: "Highly probable to imminent."

Shep: "We haven't had a sea surge in more than three decades. If we were at risk, the early warning system would've been activated. And-"

Before he could finish it the siren began blaring.

Wrecker: "I don't like the sound of that."

The ground shook again. Shep gave Tech the binoculars and he looked towards the sea.

Tech: "The water has already begun receding. We must evict all of Lower Pacu."

Shep: "Lyana and Luna, they're on the water."

Me: "I'll grab our ship and get them. You four move everyone in town to higher ground."

They nodded and we all went different ways. I began to run back towards Marauder. People in panic were running past me.

Luna's POV

Me: "Why aren't we moving?"

I asked as we suddenly stopped. The sea was shaking the boat and we were still far away from the island. Suddenly we began to move back away from the land.

Lyana: "The tide's pulling us back. We are gonna hit the rocks!"

Looking back I saw big sharp rocks that we were approaching.

Me: "We have to jump!"

Stepping on the edge of the ship both Lyana and I jumped out just in time before the ship flew directly at the rocks. Because the water was gone we fell to the hard ground, but as fast as I could I began to pick myself up.
