Luna's POV

Hunter and I quickly turned around as we heard someone running around the corner behind us. Three blasters were pointed at us. A smile grew on my face as I saw that it was Wrecker, Tech, and Echo.

Me: "Guys."

Hunter: "What took you so long?"

Me: "Phee thinks we're getting closer to the tresure."

They approached us and all of us looked back at Phee who was standing in front of the puzzle.

Tech: "What kind of puzzle is this?"

He asked as he stepped next to her.

Phee: "Don't overthink it, brown eyes."

She placed her lantern on the ground then she placed her hands on the doors.

Phee: "Sometimes the door's....just a door."

She said as she found a handle on the doors and turned it over the doors began to open. As doors opened fully we could not step into another room because there was a big hole in it. Phee pointed her lantern forwards and there we saw the Heart of the Moutain. It was black and purple and it was lying on the shelf on the other side.

Phee: "The Heart of the Moutain."

Phee stepped on the shelf that was on the right side of the room and it was the only way we could get to the Heart of the Moutain. I cerfully followed her and others followed. As Phee got the to Heart she brushed the dust off it and as she turned it she pulled it out. She looked back at us with a smile but suddenly the room began to shake.

Wrecker: "Go! Go!"

He pushed Echo out of the way before the doors behind them could crush them. The room began to sky brightly and the walls began to move. Wrecker, Tech, and Echo weren't able to hold off the cliff as it disappeared and they slid off the walls. I almost lost my balance as Hunter's hand came before me stopping me. As the room stopped shaking we found ourselves in a big room that looked like a control room.

Tech: "I suspect this is not, in fact, a treasure vault."

Me: "Then what is it?"

Echo: "Good question."

Suddenly three filters began to glow red and the sound of a massive cannon was heard.

Tech: "It just emitted a massive surge of energy. Whatever we are standing inside is highly destructive."

Wrecker: "So what do we do to shut it down?"

Tech: "If removing the Hearf of the Moutain activated it, perhaps we must return it to its proper place to deactivate it."

He said as he looked at Phee who placed the Heart closer to her.

Phee: "Do you know how much this is worth? It's what we came for! Can't you find a separate kill switch or something?"

Hunter: "Our ship is out there. If that thing destroyed it, we'll be trapped on this planet."

Phee: "All right. But you own me."

She said as she offered Tech the Heart of the Mountain. Before he could take it a growl was heard making all of us look at the way the growling came from. The doors suddenly opened and there we saw the same creature from earlier. Immediately Hunter, Wrecker, Echo, Tech, and I began to shoot at it.

It jumped over us and hit Phee with its tail making her let go of the Heart that then fell into a hole.

Phee: "You deal with that! I'll get the stone."

She said as she went after it. Taking my chance I placed my blaster back in its place and took out my lightsaber. Turning it on the creature immediately came running at me. I jumped out of the way just before it could crush at me then I jumped over its tail that was flying at me. From the corner of my eye, I saw Hunter going after Phee.

I was trying to get the creature's attention so guys could deal with it but no matter how much all of them tried to shoot it they missed. It was very fast. It kicked Echo sending him flying on the ground. Wrecker tried to grab it by the leg but the creature kicked him against the glass.

Tech was trying to figure out how to stop the machine that we were in so I was alone staring into the hungry creature's eyes. I swung my lightsaber at it making it take a few steps back. Wrecker came running and grabbed the creature by the tail.

Wrecker: "Shoot the window!"

I took out my blaster and shot at the window a few times. Wrecker pulled the creature back and as he began to spin it he threw it out of the window.

Me: "Good thinking Wrecker. You okay Echo?"

He placed his thumb up. The machine began to shake again.

Wrecker: "Tech do something!"

Tech: "I'm trying but nothing is working!"

Hunter: "Tech, the stone!"

He threw the Heart to Tech who caught it with his arms. Tech wanted to put it inside the place but he dropped it as the machine moved again. Quicly picking it up I helped him put the Heart inside and turned it around stopping the machine just before it was about to attack again. Suddenly the Heart of the Moutain began to melt and the machine began to shake. I fell against the wall together with others. The machine began to fall.

Hunter: "Hold on to something!"

I took a good hold of the shelf that was closest to me and just as I did the machine crushed on the ground.

Me: "Is everyone okay?"

Wrecker: "Yeah."

We all approached the hole that Wrecker created as he threw the creature out.

Tech: "This puts us at 0 for 2 in tresure hunting, even with a professional."

Me: "Well we did find the Heart of the Moutain. The legend was real."

Phee: "Now that's the right attitude."

She said as she looked at me. We began to make our way back to Marauder.

Hunter: "At least no one can ever activate that thing again."

Phee: "So, what you're saying is that it's a good thing we came after all?"

Me: "I'm sorry about Mel."

Phee: "This happens all the time. That's why I keep Mel's memory stored in my ship's data bank.  I'll have her rebuilt before we head to Vednay."

Me: "What's on Vednay?"

Phee: "I have a lead on a certain chalice. Very ancient."

Hunter: "Really?"

Phee: "The legends say..."

Hunter: "Here we go again."
