Crosshair's POV

Cody gave me the sign to put my gun down as he lowered his. I did as I was told. Cody removed his helmet and placed it on the floor.

Cody: "It's an option now."

He then placed his blaster on the ground as well.

Cody: "Listen, we both lived through one war. Let's not start another. Too many people have died already. We can resort to this without more bloodshed. Please. Do this for your people."

Tawni taught for a moment before removing her blaster and letting Governor Grotton go. He came running next to Cody.

Grotton: "Nicely handed. Not execute her."

Cody: "Sir, I promised a peaceful-"

Grotton: "You did! I didn't! Now execute her!"

Cody looked at Tawni.

Tawni: "So much for peace."

Grotton: "I gave you an order! Follow it, or face the consequences for dis-"

The echo of the blaster going off hit the room's walls as Tawni's blaster fell to the ground. An exhale left her mouth before her body fell to the ground. Cody looked back at me and I placed my gun down.

Grotton: "Put her body in the square. Let it be a warning to the rest of them."

Grotton walked past me and made his way down the stairs. I looked after him then I looked back at Cody. The look in his eyes I knew well. I saw it many times before.

Luna's POV

I was trying to focus on the studies that Tech gave me about the Imperial ships. But as much as I wanted to focus on them I couldn't get Crosshair out of my mind. I had another Force vision. This one was short but I knew it was a warning. Was I making a big mistake by contacting him? Was that the warning?

Wrecker: "Are you okay Luna?"

I quickly looked at him. I didn't even notice him standing next to me.

Me: "Yeah. Everything okay Wrecker."

Wrecker: "You sure?

No, I wasn't sure what I saw. But I know I saw Crosshair. He looked worried. Very worried.

Me: "Yeah I'm sure."

Wrecker: "Oh, okay then."

He walked away I saw him walking towards Hunter. I knew that it was him asking him to talk to me. I told him that I was fine but I knew that he didn't believe me. I wanted to tell him that I had another Force vision. But how can I tell him that I saw Crosshair and that I have been in regular communication with him? Would he think that I betrayed him? Cause I could never.

I placed the small tablet aside so  I could push myself off the chair. I began to walk up and down trying to calm my mind. I would never betray him or any of them. They did so much for me.

Hunter: "Luna?"

Me: "Yes?"

Hunter: "Why are you walking up and down?"

Me: "I'm just thinking. It's just that."

As I was about to walk past him again he took hold of my hand stopping me.

Hunter: "Talk to me, Luna. Please."

I didn't want to look into his eyes because I felt guilty. But the moment I lifted them and met his eyes I couldn't look away.
