Hidden behind the smile •MonoShinKami• ~Denki angst~

Lunch

Denki Kaminari was walking with Shinso and Monoma as they head to the cafeteria for lunch, the three of them have really enjoyed talking and bonding with each other. Denki makes lots of jokes and talks the most, it was fun! However, there was an underlying tension, Shinso and Monoma could see the pain evident in Denkis eyes every time they showed their lover affection. They resume to try and ignore it but its evident no matter the effort Denki gives to try hide it. They continue to the cafeteria and get some lunch, Shinso gets a coffee and a plain cheese sandwich while Monoma gets a chicken and salad rap with a packet of salt and vinegar crisps.

"Are you going to get anything Kaminari?" Shinso inquires with a slight look of concern.

"Oh u-um yeah..." Denki mumbles as he grabs  a bag of sliced fruits, its a toddlers portion of a snack. There are about 3 grapes, 2 apple pieces and 2 pineapple pieces. Monoma gives him a strange look but turns to go to a table anyways.

"Is that all your having Kaminari?" Monoma hesitantly questions, Denki proceeds to nod and sit next to him, Shinso is sat across from them.

"What class have you got after this?" Shinso begins the small talk, the small talk continues for 10 minutes, they both notice how Denki suddenly got quieter in the span of 8 minutes. Out of nowhere, Kirishima runs over interrupting Shinso mid sentence.

"Denki! We were so worried!" He says with concern and slight anger. He is very quickly followed by Mina who just looks a bit disappointed.

"Denks, you know your supposed to eat with us..." She mumbles with a sad look.

"Why the hell is it so important he eats with you?" Shinso asks with an undertone of hostility. Mina and Kirishima look annoyed, but when they glance down to Denki, they sigh.

"Fine. We will give you responsibility for today... Denki  doesn't take care of himself. So we don't allow him to be alone incase he gets himself hurt." Kirishima says with a stern face. Denki is just staring at the table silently, he disassociated again but people haven't noticed. Shinso and Monoma just look at him as Mina and Kirishima walks away, as Mina turns they can hear her mutter 'make sure he eats'.
