Hidden behind the smile •MonoShinKami• ~Denki angst~

Don't play with electricity or you will get shocked.

The 3 boys were sat cuddling on Shinso's bed, Shinso in the corner, Monoma leaning on his side and Denki in the middle, fiddling with Shinso's blanket. It had been a week since they decided to be together and they were still awkward in public about it, the only people who were told were Shinso's parents and Bakusquad. But of course some people started to realise and talk, but it stayed within class 1a and some of class 1b. It was nice, they were happy, they quickly realised how clingy and attention needy Denki was however they also knew it wasn't a choice, it seemed to be a trauma response sort of thing.

Monoma was in his usual plain t-shirt and trousers, Shinso in a hoodie and jeans and Denki in joggers and Shinso's hoodie. That was another thing, Denki rarely wore his own clothes, they noticed that any hoodie, jacket, cardigan etc. were always Bakusquads, and now theirs. It was adorable. They really did care about Denki, but there are always challenges. Today they were going to have to find out that Denki's quirk is not always the kindest to him.

Without warning, Denki shot up, scrambling to his feet and stammering along the other side of the room.
"Denki?? You okay?" Monoma said getting up and sitting in front of him, Shinso was dumbfounded and stayed put. Monoma reached out to touch Denki's leg when he was suddenly shocked, Denki had just electrocuted him.
"Denki what the hell!?-" Shinso exclaimed getting up and running over to them both. Shinso reached out for Denki's hand as he held Monoma.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" He shouted as sparks of electricity began to fly from his body. Shinso and Monoma stared wide eyed.
"D-Denki, baby... You need t-to calm down-" Monoma sounded terrified which hurt Denki more.
"PLEASE! I don't want to hurt you!" Denki said as tears fell down his face.

The electricity grew, more and more sparks until finally there were visible spikes of electricity shooting out of Denki into the small area surrounding him. He was in pain. He was in pain and there was nothing his lovers could do but watch. Then it happened. Denki's body was glowing gold and orange, a blood chilling scream rang through the dorm rooms. His golden eyes shaking, his pupils small. It appeared as if his veins where made of lightning. His lovers sat there dumbfounded, unsure of what to do, what action to take. Shinso contemplated calling his father but he was scared that Denki didn't want his teacher knowing. What if it led to more questions? What if this wasn't just a quirk malfunction? Shinso was frozen in place. So Monoma took action.

Monoma snatched Shinso's phone and called Aizawa. While the phone rung he opened the bedroom door and shouted to Mina who was running over with Sero- they had both heard the scream.

"Mina! Grab me rubber gloves! NOW!" Neito shouted, panicked but composed. Aizawa picked up the phone and Shinso answered, blurting out the situation as he cried. Denkis cries where so loud and clear. It was painful to hear, let alone be the one making them. Sero rushes in and stands against the wall, concerned but not wanting to mess anything up, Mina dashed in almost immediately after and threw the gloves to Monoma. Monoma hurried to put them on and crawled towards Denki who protested in a pained and fearful voice, not wanting to hurt Monoma again.

"Dads on his way! He will be a couple minutes!" Shinso exclaimed. Monoma with a gentle, reassuring smile, moved closer to Denki, caressing his hands with his rubber glove covered hands. Now they just had to wait. Wait for Aizawa to get there or for the shocks to end.
