Hidden behind the smile •MonoShinKami• ~Denki angst~

Forest

The 3 boys sat in the miniature forest of UA school at lunchtime. Monoma leaning slightly on his lover who was holding his hand, Denki sat in Monoma lap crying for reasons neither of the two other boys knew. All they knew is they wanted to comfort the sweet little Denki that made them both smile even before they were properly friends. The sun shone through the trees, leaking onto the grass like honey. A few birds were singing their sweet melodies, it was rare but on occasion some students said to have seen some bunnies running around, their fluffy ears twitching as they hop. The trees towered above them, leaves gliding gracefully to the ground, the greens and browns were so beautiful. This is why Shinso and Momoma loved it so much. It was a place to feel shielded from the outside world, if only for a few minutes...

There was a distant ring of the school bell, Denki jolted up in panic and checked his phone. 2:10pm. He missed a whole period. All three of them had missed a whole period. Because of him.
"No, no, no, no, no!" He exclaimed as he began to hyperventilate again, Shinso attempted to interrupt him,
"Hey Kaminari-" Denki interrupted immediately as he started to get up.
"I'm so so so sorry! I made you late! Actually I made you SKIP! Omg I'm so useless! We should go- I'm going to go-"

Denki was shut up by Monoma.
"Denki Kaminari." He said sternly gently grabbing his face so Denki was forced to look him directly in the eyes. Denki sat back down and Monoma pulled him back into his chest. Shinso looks at Denki and both Monoma and Shinso realise Denki is bright red. The sun was streaming into the patch of grass as the three boys sat there in silence for a few seconds. Then Denki funnily whispered something, something that couldn't help but make their hearts break,
"Are you mad at me..? Are you disappointed..?" There was so much fear and pain behind those words, he sounded generally terrified to make them mad or disappointed. His voice was shaking, Monoma freezes and holds him closer.
"No Denki... No we aren't." Monoma said, there was a protectiveness in his tone that only Shinso seemed to notice. Shinso shuffled closer and kissed his boyfriend on the head as he smiled gently at the two boys.

"I called Mr Aizawa and told him you were struggling and that it would be best if we stayed with you for the rest of the afternoon. If that's what you want that is." Shinso said, that strict but caring tone always made Denki crack, when Denki finally went respond Shinso interrupted him.
"And no. We aren't leaving just because you 'feel bad'. We are here because we care. We want to help you. We WANT to support you. Understood?"
Denki could only respond with a nod, such a small response, so many emotions. They then moved into different positions, Denki had been moved into Shinsos lap with his head leant against Monoma, in a right angle kind of shape, it was nice, to be cared for like this, to be comforted like this.
