CHAPTER 39: A NEW CHAPTER WITH YOU PT. 2
JENNIE POV
"No! She can't leave me!" I try pushing Jisoo away but Yeji came and both of them hug me so tight
"NOOOOOO!" I cried
"Princess~" Mr. Manoban came in front of me and hug me tight as Jisoo and Yeji let him hug me.
"I-I---"
"Lalisa will be alright~ Your sist--- Your w-wife will be alright. She is a strong woman like her mother" He whispers and pats my head
"D-dad I can't lose her" I sob and clench the hem of his coat
"And I won't allow it as well Jennie~ I want my daughters to be happy. They deserve all of the happiness in this world" He moves away and pats my cheeks before wiping my tears away "Now calm down and let's wait for her okay?"
"N-ne~" I nod and we both sat on the chairs. I felt sleepy but I was trying to keep myself awake
"Sleep for a while Jen~ We will wake you up before the operation ends" Jisoo sits beside me and places my head on her shoulder. I didn't protest and quickly fell into a deep slumber.
TIME SKIP: 6 HOURS LATER
"What's taking so long? Lisa is alright, right?" I was fidgeting my fingers as I kept looking at the door. I was shaking in nervousness. We're inside the VIP room now since the doctors came out from the operating room a few minutes ago
"Good morning~" A nurse enters with a smile
"How is my daughter?" Mr. Manoban approach her while we all waited for her response.
"The heart transplant is successful. She in the recovery room and doctors monitored her an hour ago. She lost a lot of blood during the first few hours but we manage to handle it smoothly"
"Thank God" I mumble
"Will she be transferred here?" Mr. Manoban asks
"We will Mr. Manoban. The doctors are checking her vitals to make sure she's in a stable condition. She woke up a minute ago but went back to sleep. It must've been the anesthesia but if ever she wakes up again please tell us immediately" The nurse smiles and the door opens as the nurses push Lisa's bed inside.
"Thank you~" I gave all of them a smile and sit beside Lisa's bed. The nurses smile and bow before leaving the room
"Monkey~ Wake up now" Jisoo whispers and we both giggle as she poke Lisa's cheek
"Thank you Chu" I smile
"Anything for my dear cousins" Jisoo taps my hand and stands "I'll go home and check on Ella"
