I rubbed at my shoulder while biting my lip softly as I looked at the others who were staring at me like I had two heads. I think they were waiting for me to start turning but why would I? I haven't turned in the weeks since the incident so why would I do that now? I don't understand why my body had reacted in this way but I guess I got super lucky.

"Stop staring at her," Cheong-san spoke up, his voice sounding hoarse from being tired and frustrated. I looked at him, seeing that he was staring at everyone, "She hasn't turned this whole time. She won't turn now." He held our hands up, "If she does, I'll stop her." I looked down with a frown.

He didn't trust me either.

I pulled my hand out of his grasp before walking towards the window. I didn't understand why they were expecting me to turn when I hadn't yet. I looked among the school grounds, my eyes focusing on the zombies' movements from the dead students. I wasn't like that so why are people accusing me?

"Wait. They still work, right? The internet! The internet." Joon-yeong asked before I heard movement between them all. "Let's see. Sorry, Miss Park."

I turned my head around to look at them as I heard movement and saw that Gyeong-su had walked over to join me. I gave him a small smile, which he returned, "Thank you, Ji-na." He said softly, "For standing up for me."

"If I don't, who will?" I asked, folding my arms, "And I would hope you'd do the same for me if I need it."

Gyeong-su put his hand on my shoulder, "I believe you..." I gave him a look, "No seriously." He pointed at my now-covered bitten shoulder, "You would've turned weeks ago. I trust that you will never turn. I'm jealous that you don't have to worry about being bitten again."

I took a deep breath, "We don't know what it's like. I could become infected if I get bitten again. Let's hope I don't." I said smiling at him and nudged him, "Don't get bitten either, okay?"

He nodded with a smile, "I'm not leaving here willingly."

It happened so fast but the hose from outside the window crashed into it, breaking the window right behind me, making me gasp in pain. I could see the look of fear and shock on everyone's faces. I slowly turned around, looking at the broken glass as the rope swung again. I could feel my body shaking from pain and the rising adrenaline.

"Ji-na! Are you okay?" Gyeong-su asked, pulling me away from the window. He turned me around to face him, "Shit," He said, "You have glass."

"Did someone not make it in?" Woo-jin asked, making me shake my head as I knew everyone was there.

"No. No one." Cheong-san said as he slowly walked forward.

I grabbed his sleeve, "Don't, San." I whispered, not wanting him to get hurt as well as I watched the hose continue to break the glass.

"Wait. Don't go too close!" Gyeong-su said as Cheong-san got out of my grip. Gyeong-su stopped me from following as he was holding me back. "Stay here." He whispered before walking after Cheong-san. I watched the two boys, "Do you see anything?" He waved back at us, "It's just wind."
