"No." My aunt Sakari and my mom answered at the same time.
"You should've been had this figured out, V." My mom said.
I was trying on birthday outfits and I don't have a clue what look I'm going for. My birthday is tomorrow, it's a Sunday. So I'm not even sure what I'm doing. But, Akira is taking me out for dinner tonight. She's not telling me where but if I know my friend, I know it's somewhere boujee and expensive.
"I like the all black outfit and I like the Denim outfit." My Aunt Sakari said.
I nodded in agreement. My phone buzzed with a text message and I grabbed it off the nightstand. When I looked at the text message, I couldn't believe my eyes.
Devin I'm coming to Atlanta tomorrow wtw?
"What the hell?" I mumble under my breath.
"What's wrong now?" My mom asked me.
"Devin just texted me and said he's coming here tomorrow. We literally haven't spoken since he moved and now he wants to come and celebrate my birthday." I say sitting down my bed.
She shrugged, "Are you guys cordial?" She asked me.
"No." I bluntly respond.
"I think that if you guys are cool and he's just being nice then it's no big deal." My mom said as I groaned.
"He can't come because Jacob is coming to everything, he really wants to celebrate my birthday with me." I tell her. "And I can't have both of them around me, it's too much." I said shaking my head.
"Well tell him you're not doing anything and just not to come." My aunt suggested.
"Then I'd be lying."
"So what? Doesn't he have a new girlfriend?" She asked me.
I shrug, "I don't know. I don't care." I said before grabbing my phone.
I decided to text him back without taking my mom or my aunt's suggestions.

I don't even know what to say that. I just turned my phone off and left him on read.
"I don't think anything I say can change his mind." I say shrugging my shoulder.
"So is this Jacob your new boyfriend?" My mom asked me.
I shook my head slowly. "No, we're just-"
"Fucking?"
"No, I was gonna say chilling." I said rolling my eyes at my aunt's response.
