PARTING WAYS
Saturday, April 17th, 1980
The next day proved to be a hectic one for Lisa as she diligently carried out routine checkups and physical examinations for the children under her care.
Despite the busy schedule, she found a moment in the afternoon when she made her way to the playroom.
Upon entering, Lisa observed the nurses engaging in playful interactions with the children, their laughter filling the room with joy.
With a warm smile, Lisa approached the group, eager to join in the fun.
Spotting a young girl with Down syndrome sitting quietly on the mat, Lisa settled herself beside her, her eyes alight with kindness.
The girl glanced up at Lisa with a shy smile, her fingers fidgeting nervously.
"You want to play?" Lisa asked, her voice gentle as she reached out to the girl.
The girl nodded eagerly, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
Lisa's heart swelled with affection as she took the girl's hand in hers, their fingers intertwining.
As they played together, Lisa couldn't help but notice the girl's attempt to form a heart shape with her fingers.
Seeing her struggle, Lisa gently guided her, offering encouragement and support with each attempt.
To Lisa's delight, the girl eventually succeeded in creating the perfect heart shape, her face lighting at her accomplishment.
Lisa beamed with pride, her heart swelling with affection for the young girl.
However, her moment of joy was interrupted when she glanced towards the glass partition and saw Jeongguk standing there, dressed in casual attire.
Lisa couldn't help but smile as the girl excitedly showed her the heart shape she had mastered.
With a proud smile, Lisa encouraged the young girl.
Then, Lisa's gaze shifted back to Jeongguk, who was smiling warmly at her from outside the room.
Lisa encouraged the girl to look towards Jeongguk and make a heart shape with her fingers and both Jeongguk and Lisa giggled at the girl's adorable gesture.

As they walked side by side in the hospital corridor, Lisa's curiosity got the better of her. "How did you get here and know I'd be in the playroom?" she inquired, glancing at Jeongguk with a questioning look.
Jeongguk's smile widened at her skepticism. "Well, I just had a feeling," he replied cryptically, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
