I'm losing my mind trying to find a nice outfit for tonight.
Mencia is trying to help me but nothing feels perfect.
"Maybe I should just cancel and call it a day." I throw myself onto my bed and bang my fists on my pillow.
Mencia sighs and continues to look through my closet, "You're being dramatic. Let me see...here try this one on!"
She lays down a black dress I bought a while back but never wore. It was supposed to be an outfit for a special occasion and well, this is a special occasion.
I quickly stood up and began to change into it.
"Oh my god, you're so hot right now." Mencia claps her hands together and I look at myself in the mirror.
I do look hot.
My makeup looks natural and I straightened my hair for tonight. The dress also holds my curves perfectly and I just know Arius is going to love it too.
I haven't been on a date for who knows how long. This is also a date with Arius who, no offense, doesn't have a romantic bone in his body. I've known him for most of my life and not once have I ever heard this guy talk about something romantic.
Is it bad that I'm okay with it?
My love language is spending quality time and if we're just laying in bed watching movies...then I'm okay with that.
"If Arius doesn't fuck you after this, I will." Mencia wraps her arms around my chest and lays her chin on my shoulder.
