"Shigaraki. . . why are you obsessed with me?"
-The day before, in the human empire-
Emperor Toshinori stared at the destruction the General had caused, his expression was readless as he suddenly lifted his hand to his mouth and coughed violently, while he coughed, he left for his castle, shooing away any servants who tried to help him
He stumbled his way through the castle, his eyes bloodshot and his body trembling, he made his way to a hidden room and crashed into his desk, scattering papers and ink as he tried to grab what he needed
While fumbling, Toshinori grabbed a vial of purple liquid, he quickly downed the vial and collapsed to the ground, exhausted, as he lay there, black smoke wrapped about him, taking the form of a man, leaning over the emperor with a playful smirk
"Well well well~ how the magnificent emperor has fallen~ using dark magic like the hypcrite he is~"
The man laughed to himself as Toshinori swiped at him and yelled, "SHUT UP!!! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!! OR DID YOU REALLY THINK I WOULDN'T NOTICE!?!?!?" Toshinori then got up, breathing heavily as the man rolled his eyes and leaned against the desk, "It was merely a favor for both of us; we know you couldn't handle that tyrant by yourself, plus I needed to get your attention"
As he spoke, the man tilted Toshinori's head with his ring finger, which was long and bony, ". . . My debt. . ." the emperor muttered, looking away in shame, "I helped you end the demon King all those years ago, now it's time for you to help me~" a scroll unfolded from the man's hand, revealing a contract with Toshinori's name on it
Emperor Toshinori sighed, running his hand through his blonde hair before turning back to the man, who once again leaned against the desk with his arms crossed, "well? You know what you need to do~"
"I must kill Tyrant Shigaraki's child. . ."
