After all of the training days have passed, it is now time for the individual assessment. All of the tributes are sat on benches in a room. Silas and Lilith are on the second bench in the room. Lilith wouldn't say she's nervous, but she sure isn't calm. The urge to pick at her fingernails grows every second, but she tries her best to keep them flat on her legs.

Lilith hears someone muttering something behind her, so she turns her head a little bit. While her head is turned, she makes brief eye contact with Katniss, who looks down after a second. Okay, she definitely said something.

Just before Lilith is about to face forward again, Finnick looks up and catches her eye. She feels her cheeks get hot for a moment. She gives him the smallest of smiles before turning around again. Why did her face become hot? She brings up a hand to her cheek and feels it. It's burning.

Once both of the District One tributes are finished with their assessment, it is now time for District Two. Lilith is grateful she doesn't have to wait long like the outlying Districts.

"Silas Whitlock."

Silas stands and walks inside the training room. Lilith hopes he does well, it's all she can do. The seconds pass by so slowly, it's almost agonizing. This is probably more of a torture than being thrown into the Games. Well, not really, but it feels that way for her.

Lilith's thoughts are going wild. What if Silas picks something he's horrible at? What if the Gamemakers hate what he does? What if he makes himself look like a fool? What if-?

"Lilith Monroe."

Her head whips up. She stands, and takes a breath. She enters the room, making herself look fully confident in her abilities. Lilith stands in the middle of the room and puts her hands behind her back.

"Lilith Monroe. District Two," She introduces herself.

A couple of the people nod their heads, so she takes it as a sign to finally decide what she is going to do. Lilith glances around the room. Everything is melting together, she can't decide. She should've prepared for this, now she is the one that is going to look stupid. Just as she is about to default to her swords, her eyes land on a vase of white roses. They remind her of a secret Finnick told her a couple years ago. Then, an idea pops into her head.

Lilith bolts to the vase, she's wasted too much time already. She takes all of the roses out of the vase, and places them on a table. She runs over to the paint, grabbing the red paint and the paint water. She grabs the vase and hits it against the table, breaking the top off of it. It now looks like a drink cup, just with sharp edges. She sets it down and pours the water into it, and then takes some of the red paint and splatters it in the cup. She puts more in one area, making it look like someone drank out of it. She then smears the red paint on the white roses.

For the final touches, Lilith picks up the cup and all of the roses. She then begins to drink from the cup, just to spit it out all over the table. With a blank look on her face, she drops the cup, shattering it. Then, she holds the roses with both of her hands on top of each other. She slowly turns, almost robotic like, and walks to the door. Just as she reaches the door, she breaks the buds off of the stems, throwing them to either side of her.

Once Lilith is in the elevator, she finally feels like she can breathe. She doesn't even know what came over her. Would this get her into trouble? She hopes not.
