I wrote on the card that will accompany the tulip bouquet I personally arranged for Jade. Yes i wrote that but honestly, if she or anybody asks me to give one of those hundred reasons I will not be able to. The truth is i dont have one exact reason. I just dont want her to leave. I want her here.
Flashback
"Tsong, i need your help!" Althea to Batchi.
"Ano un tsong, kahit ano basta wag sa pera a. Medyo kapos din ako ngaun e. Hehe" Batchi replied.
"E kasi tsong nsabi ko sayo na aalis na si Jade dito sa boardinghouse, e ayoko sanang umalis siya. Please dont ask why kasi wala rin akong maisasagot sayo ng maayos. Ang alam ko lang isipin lang na aalis siya at hindi ko na siya makikita dito sa bahay para nang dinudurog ang puso ko. Kaya gusto ko sana gumawa ng ways para maconvince siya na magstay. She said wala daw siyang reason to stay kaya gusto ko sanang bigyan siya ng reason. Hindi ko alam kung enough pero basta gusto ko lang subukan. Wala namang mawawala diba?" Althea explained to Batchi. She was glad her bestfriend didnt interupt her while explaining.
"Ok. Game ako diyan. Sabihin mo lang anong maitutulong ko." Batchi said with a grin.
"Alam ko na saan ito papunta. Baka hindi pa lang narerealize ni bestfriend pero ako alam ko na. Dati pa naman siya fascinated kay Jade e. Hindi lang siya makabwelo. At least ngaun may gagawin na siya para magkalapit sila." Batchi thought to herself while listening to Althea's explanation.

From this day forward, i will make Jade feel special, im not sure, but im hoping that it will at least give her one reason to stay.
I plan on cooking food for Jade: Breakfast, lunch, merienda, dinner for the entire week and as long as we are still both here.
"Hey, knock knock. Jade. Pasok ako a. Tara kain na tayo. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day kaya you cant skip it. Tara. Kain. Ay before i forgot, here's your toothbrush, i already put on some toothpaste, here's the water and the basin. I brought it here na para hindi ka na lalabas dun sa c.r. Dali!" I said to Jade. She was just staring at me the whole time, unable to respond.
"Oo na oa na ako. Pati ba naman toothbrush pero kasi nga db i want her to feel special kaya papagsilbihan ko siya. Kung papayag nga lang siya na subuan ko pa siya e gagawin ko na rin. Hayaan mo na ako. Masaya rin ako sa ginagawa ko." I said to myself.
I was glad that Jade merely complied and did not say a thing. After brushing, she combed her hair into a neat bun and joined me in the table to eat.
"Naks ganda kahit bagong gising a. *wink*" The words and the gesture came from out of nowhere. My mouth get ahead of my head.
Jade raised one eyebrow at me giving me the what-the-heck-are-you-saying look.
"T-tara na nga kain na tayo. Uhm. Sorry sa luto ko a. Hindi pa kasi ako masyadong marunong. But ill get better. Antayin mo lang ha. Hehe" Me stumnering to Jade.
Still Jade did not respond. She was merely looking at me. And i continued to smile at her. I didnt have much to say. I just want to eat breakfast with her. I was just staring at her. I know she's cute but as i look at her even more, she's becoming even more beautiful. Her eyes: i can melt looking at her eyes. Her cheekbones: i can brush my fingers on those forever. Her collarbone: so sexy. Her lips: ...
"Ano bang gusto mo at ginagawa mo to?! What's your motive!?" My line of thoughts was broken by Jade's question and also it caught me off guard. I can sense some irritation in Jade's voice.
"Uhm. Nothing i just want us to be friends. That's it. Can we be friends? Please!" I said to her with the sweetest smile i can muster.
"Hindi kasi tayo nagkaroon ng chance maging friends for the whole first semester. So i want to be friends with you bago ka man lang umalis dito sa boarding house. Kaya please. Pagbigyan mo na ako. Wala namang mawawala sayo e. As a matter of fact maggagain ka rin kasi you'll earn a friend."
"Ok. Sabi mo e. Friends!" Jade finally said for a minute or so of silence and gave me a smile.
"Tara na. Kain na lalamig itong niluto mo. Ano ba ito?! Hmm. Tinapa (smoked fish) at pritong talong (fried eggplant) with matching bagoong (shrimp paste) pa. Akala ko b d ka marunong magluto?" Jade asked.
"Hindi nga masyado but im learning. Isa pa prito lang naman yan. Gaano ba kahirap magprito ng tinapa at talong. Haha. But im getting better sa paghiwa ng garlic for the sinangag. Hindi na ako nahihiwa. Hehe. Pero ung bagoong binili ko lang yan sa supermarket. Hahaha." I said proudly while placing food in Jade's plate.
"Ay ito pla ung chocolate drink mo. Nilagay ko na sa insulator mug para medyo matagal init. Hehe. Sana magustuhan mo. Go kain na." I added.
"In fairness masarap a. Masarap ung nabili mong tinapa." Jade said then laughed out.
"Masarap ung nabili ko? Hindi ung niluto ko? Grabe ka! Ansama mo." I retorted.
"E pinirito mo lang naman yan e. Hindi naman ikaw ang nagtimpla niyan. Kaya tama lang na masarap ung nabili mo. Hehehe." Jade said with a teasing smile.
"But thank you." Jade said with a serious tone while still smiling at me.
"Your welcome. Anything for you friend." I replied.
We enjoyed our breakfast together and talked about anything. School, family, other friends, politics. Anything. I enjoyed every minute i spent with her. We finished our supposed breakfast about 1pm. I suddenly remembered that i still have one exam for finals. Yes, unlike Jade, i have to take my math final exams. Aside from that i am also exempt from taking exams on my other subjects. I told her that i still have math exams at 5pm so I have to go and do some math exercises before the actual exams.
"Ok. Go. Galingan mo a. Kasi naman math na nga lang hindi ka pa na-exempt. Haha!" Jade said teasingly. "Sige na ako na ang maghuhugas nitong mga pinagkainin natin mag-aral ka na. At galingan mo sa exam mo. Uno dapat a. *wink*" she finally said while pushing me out of her room.
"Oo gagalingan ko, inspired ako e." I shouted while fast walking from Jade's room to mine.
