I sat in the break room, eating my lunch casually while scrolling through my phone. Other than me, it was pretty quiet since I was the only one there. I always tried to hang out around the fire department in case of an emergency and they needed me.
I continued to pick at my salad, until the door of the break room opened. I looked up just for a moment before seeing none other than Calum Hood.
His brown eyes stared at me for a moment before scowling slightly and rolling his eyes, putting whatever lunch he had in the microwave.
I only raised an eyebrow at his reaction to seeing me.
Holding a grudge? Come on Cal, I know you are more mature than that.
I didn't feel the need to care about it. If he didn't want to apologize and wanted to stay mad at me, I wouldn't bother stopping him.
I am unsure what happened between Calum and Luke's relationship. That would be a thing for Luke or Calum to tell me, but from what I've gathered, Luke is a sensitive person–which is perfectly okay and valid– but Calum doesn't seem to understand that, and now thinks Luke is some sick twisted person who guilt trips people and manipulates them. .
I watched as Calum left the break room with a small grunt, not even daring to look me in the eye. It was downright childish behavior.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized, I don't know much about Luke. I don't know if he has some sort of disability, or is neurodivergent of some sorts. I remember him saying he doesn't have therapy, as it's expensive, so maybe I could try to help him get some.
I pushed the thought farther into my head, keeping it in mind before looking back down at my phone.
