Izuku woke up with a quiet gasp as he opened his eyes to find himself chained to a pillar on a platform. Heavy metal binds rested on his hands and an equally large muzzle was placed over his face. He tried to move foreword only to further realized he was thoroughly strapped to the pillar he stood against. 'Shit'. He thought dismissively as he gave the restraints a strong tug to realize they were quirk dampening as well. 'I knew I should've just stuck to the original play and beat his ass normally, now all of these hero's will see me as a threat. He thought absentmindedly as the pillar began to lift towards the ceiling.
His limited ability to move his head prohibited him from glancing upward to see the hole that opened in the ceiling above him. He could hear the loud chirping of a crowd, and vaguely realized that he was still most likely at the sports festival. 'Is it over already?' He questioned as the pillar finally lifted out of the dark room and into the light. Izuku found himself in the middle of the stadium, with what he could see as Todoroki next to him on his left, and the second place spot being void of a body, but instead a tv with Bakugo Katsuki's picture displayed on it. Huh. Must have still been asleep then.
Izuku then realized that the crowd was indeed very loud, but the stadium was filled with the exclamation of boos, directed at him. He rolled his eyes as all might approached, his award winning plus ultra smile plastered across his perfect face.
All might promptly sweat dropped at the glare of the green haired boy, feeling unnerved by the display he put on earlier at the event. He quickly pushed aside these feelings as he hung the medal around his neck and turned towards the crowd of people.
"THIS YEARS SPORTS FESTIVAL WINNER IS NONE OTHER THAN CLASS 1-A's IZUKU MIDORYA!!!!!" All might exclaims, his voice booming and demanding of attention at always.
The crowd's disapproval was made more evident with this announcement, the boos and strayed insults becoming louder by the second.
"WELL THAT CONCLUDES OUR EVENT FOR TODAY FOLKS, AND REMEMBER, GO BEYOND PLUS ULTRA!!!!!!" The hero says before promptly flying away. Izuku rolled his eyes once more at the hero's departure and looked out into the crowd of people yelling at him as he began to descend back into the floor. 'This shit is fucking insane. Should've taken it easier than that.' Izuku thought to himself as he made it back into the room he woke up in.
He sat still got a moment in his own thoughts, before he heard a door behind him swing open. He couldn't turn his head to see who it was, but they said nothing as they began to undo the metal binds that restricted his movement and speech. After a couple of clamps undone and metal clicks he was released from the platform and stumbled forward as he became free.
He rubbed at his wrists and rolled his shoulders before turning around. He was met with tired purple eyes and hair, with a pale face excluding the different splotches of bruises strewn about his appearance. Shinso.
The room was quiet for a moment as the two boys looked upon each other expressionless. "Aizawa told me to come and get you." Shinso finally spoke up into the silence. Izuku nodded slightly in understanding before walking towards the exit. Shinso followed suit and the two boys exited the room and walked down a long hallways where voices of students and staff alike became louder as they approached some type of rest area. Just as Shinso reached for the door handle he stopped.
"You're a strong opponent, thank you for the match." He spoke. And then without turning to see Izuku's reaction he turned the handle and walked into the open space, disappearing into the crowd of students.
Izuku watched his back for the moments he could with curiosity and a hint of admiration before he turned away and spotted Tokoyami and the others of his cavalry battle group huddled together talking.
*Time Skip*
That night Izuku lie awake in bead thinking over the events of the day. He was in fact exhausted, but for some reason he couldn't sleep. Everything that happened just continues to run through his mind in a loop with no foreseen end. Specifically his fight with Bakugo.
He thought over its intensity. The malice and hatred that welled inside of him as their battle went on, it was palpable in the air. And his blood, god his blood. The way the droplets of iron flavored liquid flooded all of his senses was terrifyingly delicious and addictive. The power it gave him to beat the blonde bloody was addictive. And Izuku craved it again, the taste of his blood. That thought completely horrified him in ways he couldn't explain, but at the same time.....he needed more.
He wanted to bleed Bakugo katsuki dry and feast upon his flesh and bones.
And it excited him, just a bit.
