Mihir's POV

" Do whatever you want, you can intimidate me like this, but I will not go anywhere without meeting her. " I said firmly.

" And I would not allow you to meet her. " He said.

" I don't need your permission to meet her she is still my wife. " I retorted.

" Well for your information, this is my house, and you're standing in it without my permission this is called tress passing. " He took another step towards me. But that didn't bother me.

" Tami!! Tami! Please come out. "

" Do not disturb her, she is resting. " Siddh yelled.

" Then get the hell out of my way, I need to just talk to her and clear the misunderstanding. " I was saying when I saw Gautam uncle coming out.

" Siddh!! Who is shouting? " He asked but just then saw me.

" What the hell!! How dare you come here after what you did?"

" Please uncle, just for 5 minutes. I need to clear up the misunderstanding. " I pleaded.

" Siddh, bring my gun." Uncle said and Siddh went in and came back in two minutes.

" Siddh! Take it back, are you out of your mind? " Aunty scolded him.

" Siddh, give it to me, he can't get away after doing all that to my daughter. " He pulled the gun from Siddh and aimed it at me.

" GAUTAM!!! Stop it." Aunty tried to pull it away.

" Maurvi, get aside, what does he think of himself? How dare he call her a liar, and gold digger, and then... Let me kill him first. He dared to call her a liar when he lied to all of us that he would keep her happy and take good care of her, bloody liar! "

" Shut up!! Stop this nonsense! He is Tami's husband. " She said and came to stand between him and me.

"No, the moment he signed the papers, that marriage was over. " He retorted.

" Fine, he is the son of our friends. Stop it. Don't you dare or I will never talk to you. If you are stubborn, so am I. Try shooting him now. " She held the gun towards her, finally,  uncle shook his head and gave the gun to her.

" Siddh, throw him out of our home. He is too rich to stand in our humble abode. "  He said and Siddh pushed me out of the house and banged the door on my face.

No, I would not go out even if her dad killed me.

I went to her lawn to stand in front of her widow.

" Tami!! Tami! Please come out, I need to talk to you. " I shouted, loud enough for her to hear it. She came into the window and the moment she saw me, she turned to go away.

" Tami, please listen to me... I need to talk to you. Please, come out." I said but she didn't come back.

" Fine, I will not go from here till you come and talk to me. " I said.

Still, there was no response from her side, I was so upset to see that. I just couldn't shake off the ache in my heart. I knew that I had hurt Tami and her forgiveness wouldn't come easily, but I was determined to show her that I had changed. So I kept standing there, the rain poured down relentlessly, mirroring the turmoil within me.

I stood there, drenched in the rain, my thoughts consumed by the memories of our short time together.

Hours passed, but she didn't come out, I remained rooted to the spot, my body started shivering from the cold, but I didn't care. All that mattered was Tami. I hoped that, somehow, this gesture would show her the depth of my regret and love. It was dark and was still raining but I kept standing there for the whole time thinking about her, recalling every moment from the minute we found our Gaurvi had left and I was supposed to marry her.

I recalled every single moment, Dad was right, God presented me with the rarest diamond in the form of her and I never valued her... Abandoned her. But now, I want her in my life.

Finally, the dawn broke, and Maurvi Aunty spotted me from the window. Concerned for my health, she stepped outside, approaching my soaked figure. "Mihir, why are you still here?" She asked, her voice a mix of frustration and pity.

I looked up, my eyes red-rimmed and exhausted. "Aunty, I need to see Tami. I can't lose her. Please, just give me a chance to explain."

She sighed, her heart softening slightly. "Mihir, standing here in the rain won't change what happened. Gautam would not allow you to see her as you hurt her. " Gautam uncle came out calling Aunty's name and glared at me.

" Go home. Rest. We'll talk later." Aunty said.

I shook my head stubbornly. "I can't. Not until I see her."

" Then keep standing. But I will not allow you to have things your way. " Uncle caught Aunty's hand and took her inside.

I still kept standing there the rain was getting heavy again with lightning and hailstones.

But I didn't move, the branches of some of the trees broke due to the storm.

" Mihir, go to your home. " Aunty called out from the veranda. I just shook my head and kept standing there. Gautam uncle came out to stand by Aunty and asked her to come inside. Just then a branch hit me hard and I fell on my knees.

" Mihir!!!! Are you out of your mind? Your parents are worried about you. Go back. You will die. " She said, I was shivering but shook my head. I don't know how Vihan came there but he tried to get me up and pulled towards the cars. But I pushed him.

" No, leave me, Vihan!!  Leave me! Even if I die today, I will not go before I talk to Tami. " I said though my voice was cracking due to excessive shivering

Before Gautam uncle could respond, Tami appeared at her window, she looked concerned. " Dr Shah, what are you doing? Stop it! Your mom and dad are so worried about you. Go home before Dad... Your dad takes stress and his health is affected. " she asked softly, her voice barely audible over the sound of the rain.
